3D Zelda-Like game where you make your own temple!

I've been following this awesome game where you can make our own 3D Zelda dungeons or play other people's dungeons kinda like Portal 2 and its modding community!

Hi! Wondering if anyone can help.

Hi! Thanks in advance for reading and for hopefully helping a lost soul out.

I have a Nintendo 64. I've loved it since I was young but I haven't actually used it in about 10 years. I've finally decided to use it after all these years but I'm learning that getting it up and running isn't as simple as the plug and play design it was one based on.

I have an unmodified Nintendo 64 with all the original cables. I once upon a time bought a third party component adapter and used a scart lead to plug into an old sharp TV (which is no more) and this worked fine whilst I was uni, but the Nintendo took a bang one day, went black and white and I got scared and never used it since. I don't exactly know what happened that day, but either way, it's back out the box and I'm hopefully gonna be thrashing my niece in mario karts soon.

At the moment, I'm trying to use this on a Samsung LED smart TV and I know that it isn't likely to work, nor is it working for the original AV cable or the component cable. I've got a component to HDMI adapter, which is also not working to save the day. I don't have access to a crt TV, otherwise I would check on that.

I know the radx cables exist, but I'm trying to see if I could get what I have to work - I'm sure there's some sacrilege in the above that connoisseurs would curse me under their breath for, but I just wanna show my niece what's what on mario kart. I would eventually also be taking it back home with me and I have a 55" Samsung UE55U800FK smart 4k TV which I would love to have available for playing on.

So, treat me like I'm dense. Treat me like I've missed something obvious. Treat me like I'm looking at dissecting and alien and I have no idea what the green goo is. I (and my niece) appreciate anyone that may take the time to help me out!

I got the HDMI converter

The picture quality still looks the same to me but motion is better I guess. Print on the SummerCart 64 menu is much more legible. Has anyone had an experience where they were able to amplify the picture even more? Given these cables just convert analog signals to digital, i dont think it’s possible.

Console of nintendo 64 and super Nintendo Combined

I'm very surprised with the popularity of nintendo 64, and super Nintendo how Nintendo hasnt made a console with all the games of supernintendo and nintendo 64 on it and may aswell add gamecube on it

I reckon all us 80s and 90s generation would all get it

Thoughts?

I unintentionally bought a fake copy of Mario Party 2 at a game store (Had no idea it was fake or just didn’t look closer..Returning it) but this interesting screen popped up.

This is the first time I’m ever seeing a screen like this come up for an N64 game period. I actually had no idea save files could corrupt in a way that this error would pop up lol. I feel like this isn’t a repo cart thing either.

This is arguably the best way to play Star Fox on Switch 2. N64 controller and an OLED TV or OLED gaming monitor.

Can anyone identify what happened to this N64?

It's working just fine but the plastic on the damaged part looks weird and some of it is soft enough to be removed with a spudger.

Should I replace the shell or can I rescue this shell?

Only the top is damaged.

N64 only reads games after a specific cartridge.

Hello everyone! I really need some help as I'm at a complete loss here. My N64 has a weird issue. It only reads cartridges after I put in DK64 and start the console with it inserted. If I try to put in any other games first, the console won't read them?? But if I put dk64 in it and power on, it just works and every other cartridge works?!

I have cleaned every cartridge I own, plus the cartridge slot several times, so it's not that... please please help me🥺

Would you rather play Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time for the rest of your life?

You can only pick one: Mario 64 or Ocarina of Time. The other one not selected cannot be played ever again. In fact, the only video game you can ever play again is whatever you pick. What do you choose?

Green N64 Controller with Unusual Color?

Hi, I haven't been around here in a long time, but I'm back to ask about something—it might just be my imagination. I'll get straight to the point: I'm about to pick up a green N64 controller, and I already have two, but I noticed something odd. For some reason, one of the two is darker; is it a manufacturing error, some kind of discoloration, or just a bad photo? Thanks in advance.

N64 Distorted Audio / Video

I recently picked this NTSC N64 up for cheap untested. It has these weird audio and video distortions present no matter what I do. It seems to only happen on moving images and not static images. (See lines across screen in pics.) When the issue happens, there's a very high pitched kind of static sound present too. What I've tried:
- Known working jumper pak
- Known working expansion pak
- Refurbished cartridge reader connector
- Several known working games
- Known working power cord
- Known working composite video cables
- Cleaned motherboard
* My Pelican switcher is not the issue either. *
The motherboard was not super dirty when I took it apart either, just dusty. No evidence of corrosion, cockroaches, etc. I also can not visibly see anything wrong on the motherboard. Any ideas on what to do / try? Thanks in advance!
