I am currently seeking admission in nits CSE and I wanted to know about placement and internship in nits. I searched through the annual report but there was no internship data. Does big tech company come for internship and placement also if you can give internship data it will be appreciated.

I'm in a dilemma and would really appreciate some honest advice.

My options are:

1. NIT Silchar: Civil Engineering

2. Assam Engineering College (AEC): CSE or ECE

A little about me:

I'm genuinely interested in coding, software development, and the tech field.

My priorities are good placements, long-term career growth, higher studies opportunities, and overall college exposure.

I know the NIT tag carries a lot of value, but I'm worried that taking Civil might make it harder to build a career in software compared to studying CSE/ECE at AEC.

If you were in my position, what would you choose and why?

Hey everyone. I will be joining there. I wanted to know about hostel out and in times like get source says these

The Curfew: Unlike senior years where rules loosen slightly, freshman hostels have rigid in-time curfews (often around 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM depending on administrative notices).

Could anyone give an insight and all related hostel rules
