There's still some summer left, and if you didn't know...we're by the beach. Don't miss this one!
Jeff is at it again. This thing is stacked with some of the best hops we have available to us. Think peach rings, gooseberry, mango sorbet, and that sticky icky.
Does anyone know anything about this beer? Would love to hear the history behind this. Found a few things on the internet, but looking to see if anyone here is familiar.
Edit: we found this bottle above the cabinets of my wife’s grandparents home after they passed away. It was there for a long long long time.

Bonesaw Brewing has a 9% Double IPA Squeezins, which is made as a hybrid West Coast-New England style the same as Swoosh (Bonesaw’s staple beer). Squeezins is a little hazy, a little lingering bitterness and definitely some juicy hop goodness. Notes of fresh-squeezed oranges and tangerines through the beer. Overall this one gives a good mixture of a West Coast and New England styled beer with a haziness throughout! With the upfront haziness, citrusy taste, and piney hops, this one is a really easy sipper for 9% too!
Have you tried this one? Or any others from Bonesaw Brewing?

Was super excited to scoop up a four pack of this. I admittedly do not get to Alternate Ending (Abderdeen) enough. I’ve also never been to Tonewood. I know, I’m missing out. Always love when breweries get excited to brew lagers and low ABV beers. Excited to try to Oddbird collab next.
Got to check out this brewery after seeing my family that lives in the area. Loved the staff and the beers. I was really happy to see black ipa on the tap board. It’s a style of beer I miss. Im really glad I got a chance to check this place out
Sunday September 20th. At the New Hope PA Playhouse, right across the river from NJ... so it counts for this sub! (I think?)
Absolute blast last year, and I think they outdid themselves with the lineup this year.
Alternate Ending, Forest & Main, Human Robot!, Meetinghouse, Oakflower, Odd Bird, Sacred Vice, The Seed, Tonewood, Troon, Warwick Farm, Wild Fern.
Tickets available on the Doubles website ( The New Hope location of Human Robot).
I really regret going here. The beers are horrible. I knew I was in trouble when the stout and the ipa was bad. Both styles it kind of hard to screw up. The lager and pils had an odd sour flavor. It’s a hard skip for me.

SS 2014 Yirgacheffe Shift started with a neighbor and a coffee tasting.
During Carton's third year, Augie connected with Greg at Fair Mountain Coffee — a local neighbor — and spent time tasting coffees, looking for one that would play well with beer. The idea stuck. When anniversary season came around, they pulled out the original Bigger Boat recipe from year one, swapped the hops to Sorachi Ace and Lemon Drop for their distinct lemon character, and matched them with Yirgacheffe — a coffee with its own lemony bitterness — to see if the three could find each other in the same glass.
Small batch. Big beer. Built to last long enough to know if it worked.
That's the origin of SS 2014 — a coffee IPA born from a neighborhood friendship and the question of what happens when lemon hops and lemon coffee share a barrel.

Still here but I'd say overall pretty good! Kolsch, saison and milk stout were all quite enjoyable. Ipa was pretty mild, looking forward to more options on that front. Seltzer was seltzer and pretty good. Oatmeal stout was fine but I'm not the biggest stout fan.
Seating seems like it needs to be figured out a little better. We have 5 adults and 3 children and there is nothing that could accommodate us. We kind of segregated ourselves to a corner and moved a high top up to a regular table. Played on the floor which I personally don't care about but I could see us being seen as a nuisance.
Staff was nice and friendly. Wish I could have spoken with them more.
People I was with complained it was hot inside but I disagreed with them. They have fans set up, it was warm but comfortable to me. The smaller side room has a/c
Didn't see any cans to go or merch yet. Their glassware isn't branded which is a mild criticism of mine lol
Opened in 2025.
