Flex and also a question

This is in the nongram app, what happens to the rest of the participants, after a person wins, the rules said its a race,so do they get a silver or a bronze cup for 2nd and 3rd place?

Are they even real people,or just bots to encourage you to collect dice and play?

80x80 Full Color

This one took some time, but ended up being a real fun puzzle! This is from Nonograms Katana, SciFi series. The colors are changed, since my eyes are not very good and I sometimes have difficulty seeing the difference between various shades.

Stuck here

Sorry if it's obvious, but I can't figure out the next step. Any help?

Any help would be great (sry for the resolution)

Hi all,

I'm stuck with this advanced puzzle. I managed to start it in the bottom, but can't move forward with it. Even with trial and error didn't work for me.

Any strategies, next step moves would be helpful. Thanks a lot.

Sorry for the resolution, it's from a paper nonogram magazine. Don't mind the orange helicopter, it's form the other side of the page, so it's not related to this puzzle!

This feels unsolvable to me without guesswork?

Ive been cruising through Nonogram Galaxy 1 and able to find solves for most puzzles. But this one is stumping me. Nonogram Galaxy 1-145

techniques

Hello everyone.

I have learned about edge technique here with you all.

Could we create a new thread with techniques and tips for beginners?

I know part of the fun is finding out tricks to solve a puzzle, but there are some I wouldn’t have figured on my own.

Pixolve is a daily pixel art puzzle game inspired by NYT/LinkedIn games, with Wordle-style sharing to compare times with friends!

Growing up I played a ton of nonograms, so I wanted to build my own daily version in the same vein as NYT Games and LinkedIn's daily challenges. If you haven't heard of nonograms, you use number clues on a grid to figure out which cells to fill in, and the solution reveals a piece of pixel art. There is a thorough walkthrough example if you click the "How to Play" button. Today's puzzle is on the harder size so if it is too confusing feel free to head over to the archive and find an easier one to try first!

Currently working on two big features: a breakdown showing how your time compares to everyone else who solved that day's puzzle, and save data so your solve time, completion status, and stats are there when you come back.

Would love any feedback, especially if this is your first time trying a nonogram!

Appreciation post from a new subscriber

I wanted to make an appreciation post for this sub. Over 20 days ago I made a post asking for help, and you promptly helped me. Since, I've seen you helping many posters. Mostly problems (like my own) was that the poster was stuck on a problem that could only be solved by detecting spaces that can't be filled, but not on the most straightforward way. (I guess it's named border technique? - it's new to me)

A couple of days ago I saw a post in which the solution was actually easy - not like the cases I described above. You went and helped the poster anyway, not judging and not complaining about the problem being too easy. Just helping the poster. (actually there was one complainer, but the great majority of the comments were helpful).

So, thank you.

I hope nonograms can become more popular - they're so great.

Can anyone see a next possible move?

And if so, what strategy did you use to find it?

Stuck. What column / row can I progress in?

I feel like I've looked over every single row and column and can't find one where I can progress. Could you point me to a row / column where I can progress?

Sharing a hard one

For those who enjoy very hard nonos, this one took me a while.

Enjoy

I feel blind. Any help?

I've never been stuck like this, I feel completely blind.

I saw someone else had posted the same one earlier, but they were a bit further than me.

EDIT: solved, thank you.
