KRAS G12C NSCLC with one brain metastasis — what next?

My mom has Stage IIIB adenosquamous NSCLC in the right lung, with N2 mediastinal lymph nodes.

Her mutations are KRAS G12C and TP53, with PD-L1 30%.

She completed 3 cycles of carboplatin + gemcitabine. The main lung tumor decreased by around 5-10 %, but the lymph nodes didn't improve much.

Now she has one brain metastasis around 1 cm and is currently completing 5 sessions of brain radiation.

What I'm confused about is what usually comes next.

Has anyone had a similar situation? Did you have lung surgery after treating a single brain metastasis? Did you use sotorasib (Lumakras) or another targeted/systemic treatment?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has been through something similar.

Thank you.

About to start treatment

55 male with stage 3 NSCLC adenocarcinoma lung cancer. I'm about to start chemotherapy (pemetrexed and carboplatin) and immunotherapy (keytruda). Honestly, I'm frightened, any advice?
