Im new to NYC schools and have a 5th grader. Homework has been coming home with a check on it, but when I look at it after the teacher it’s not correct. is this something unique to the teacher or is it a nyc teaching policy not to mark homework correct or incorrec?
I’m a student who is going to be moving to NY from FL for high school. Wondering if there’s anything I should know such as applying and the different schools. Any advice or recommendations appreciated.
I currently work in a private school - no complaints other than pay/benefits.

How many classes and preps do you have a day?
What are your contracted hours?
