I am planning to buy an EV scooter my requirements or longer range and reliability I shortlisted to Ola,Vida and iQube.

Ola S1 X 4KW plus is offering around 160 km of real range and 8 years/70000 km warranty at 122K rupees on road price (includes the move os+), 10 days waiting

ola s1x Plus 5.2 KW is offering around 200 km of real range and 8 years/70000 km warranty at 146K on road price, 60 days waiting

Vida VX2 plus is offering 100 KM range and 5 years / 60000 km warranty(inc extended which is extra 6k) at 132k on road price , 7 days waiting

TVS iQube 3.5 is offering 110 km range and 5 years 70000 km warranty (including extended which is extra 8k) at 152k on road price, 60 days waiting

about ola I heard horror stories like bikes standing in open Sun and very long repair periods so I am a bit concerned about choosing Ola

in vida my main issue is there's only 100 KM range that to in eco mode, I usually drive between 50-60km/hr so the range will drasticically decrease, also the charging port is under the seat so I have to open the seat every time when I have to charge that is a bummer

in TVS IQ the range is only one 110 km and also the waiting period is about 2 months even then they are not sure when the stocks will arrive they say it may take up to 3 months also I heard from some iQube locally say the service is taking about a week to 2 weeks to be completed in some cases

Any fellow members owning any of these above said models please comment your review on your experiences

I brought Ola in 2022 and now facing issue with VCU control unit. I didn't drive much (drove only 10000). Now service center is asking for 18K for VCU..

Major loop holes

1. No home service

2. Service center are very far and few

3. R&D is pathetic and hence cheap products

4. You need to buy 2 plans to survive - Ola Care + plan and Extended warrenty

Lost interest in OLA... OLA is only hype...

I received a call from Ola support on Saturday regarding the online complaint I had filed. The representative asked me to delete/withdraw my complaint. Regarding the scooter issue, they assured me that they would speak with the service center team and call me back within 20 to 30 minutes.
However, today is May 19th, and I have not received any follow-up call or message from them yet. Since they have completely failed to get back to me as promised, I will be filing an official case against them in 2-3 days in the Consumer Court.

My friend’s ola need some minor repairs in PCB. But, as usual brand service centre advised to change whole PCB which costs around ₹18,000.

So, if anyone knows someone who can repair PCB in Vadodara please drop a comment.

I've had my Ola s1x gen 3 for 2 weeks now and I'm very satisfied with it

it has really good range and it runs fast as fuck

and that's good

but it won't stop

the breaks are geniunely gonna kill me someday they are so bad.

i have the ola s1x gen 3 2kwh varient

what can I do to improve the breaks?

I have ola s1 pro plus 3rd gen. I recently had the screen replaced (HMI) and after that regen stopped working and also volume was stuck on max. The volume somehow fixed itself the next morning but the regen is still not working... all kinds of regen are not working (throttle release/reverse throttle and braking). I tried rebooting but that didn't fix the issue...

Anyone know how to fix this?

I owned Ola S1X 4Kwh for about 2yrs now.

I mostly used it for my daily commute to my college which is 30kms around.

Which is great so far I had no issues rather than rear tyre wear.

Now in this summer, me and my friends are planning to go a bike ride to kodaikanal (hill station) from my hometown BUT the problem is my Ola s1x 4kwh only has range 127 km and the distance between kodaikanal and my hometown which is 122 kms.

I’m worried about the range, drops quicker in uphill and I have no charging point en route to the destination.

I can charge it when I reach the destination I confirmed the availability of charger point in the place i stay.

My questions are,

1. Is the range drops quicker in uphill ?
2. Can I trust the range show in the scooter?
3. Is anyone already been to kodaikanal and know some charging point?
4. Any suggestions ?

***I need to clarify that I know Ola scooters are not that reliable and I shouldn’t do this ride in it. But all I have is this scooter so no other option are feasible.

I have not received any update about my Ola scooter for the past 1.5 years while it has been at the Dhule service center. Neither your customer service team nor any of your service managers are providing me with proper information regarding my scooter.

Additionally, your service manager, Lalit Kothawade, spoke to me in a very rude and abusive manner and used inappropriate language during our conversation. Despite repeatedly asking for updates, I have not received any clear response from him or your customer care team.

During the entire period my scooter remained at the service center, my Ola Care Plus plan and insurance both expired. According to the Ola Care Plus policy, I was supposed to receive a replacement scooter while my vehicle was in service, but I was not provided with any such benefit. The policy also mentioned that towing charges for taking the scooter to the service center would be covered, yet I was still charged for towing.

Because of the extremely poor service, lack of communication, mental harassment, and the abusive behavior of your manager, I demand a full refund for my scooter. I also seek compensation for the misconduct and abusive language used by your service manager.

I bought Ola S1 pro gen 1 in 2023 and it worked fine until Jan this year, when it started to randomly turn off in middle of the road at 20-30% battery.
I visited the service center and they said its a problem in the BMS and it will be replaced. I can take around 2 to 3 months. I said okay and left the vehicle there. Since then, nothing has changed, the scooter is standing there like in a junkyard for more than 3 months, and not a single effort from OLA.

I just wanted to know if there is any way to sell it or sell the parts etc. or any way I can get it repaired as soon as possible.

Whats the major difference between these technologies?

Which is good for long term and less maintenance?

Hello everyone i wanted to know if i should give my scooty for its first servicing its been 1 whole year since i bought it never gave it to service because of all the scary things i have heard about servicing like they break your perfectly functioning scooty etc my scooty has completed just about 3.5k km so should i bother myself with taking it to service centre for my first servicing or wait ?
