About the current situation

I am not going to comment on the current situation at the moment beyond saying this:

I am one guy. You are right- there should be more than one mod on this subreddit. However, recruiting more mods takes time, and I cannot do that overnight. In the meantime, I am still one guy, I have a migraine, and I don't currently have the capacity to deal with the ongoing incident with the clarity and transparency you deserve.

I am restricting new posts and comments to the sub til tomorrow to prevent things from getting further out of hand. I am not going to take down the larger post, although I have locked comments on it at this time. However, any duplicates of that post will be deleted.

We can all come back to this in the morning. Thank you for your patience.

I hand-embroidered some silly shirts

Hi, everyone!

I'm a textile artist who loves hand-embroidering memes and pop culture themes, and there’s a good chance you’ve seen some of my work around reddit before!

Since I got tired of shirt bots ripping off my needlework designs (wall decor pieces), I decided to adapt some of my patterns and hand-stitch some tees using my fucking human hands!

Every small step counts, right? Just knowing I'm not helping some fast-fashion CEO buy another diamond-encrusted toilet seat makes me happy!

Short work week outfits

Day 1: shirt I made and leggings I didn't - was in mom mode all day

Day 2: thrifted shirt and pants I made

Day 3: thrifted shirt again (it's got bunnies) and pants I made, not the same ones

Day 4: made everything, yes it's day 3's pants.

I'm off tomorrow and won't be online much.
