in my opinion purple could have been kept off the album and nothing would be lost. and in fact i think leaving it off would’ve made the album stronger given where it sits in the tracklist. my way to the cure perfectly bridges her taking shots at his ex to her realizing she’d feel insecure no matter what in the cure, so that progression makes more sense to me. if she wanted to say something about co-dependency, maggots for brains already does that earlier in the tracklist and does it better. i still like purple and it’s not an egregious mistake to have it there but it does muddy the progression a little bit.

Has anyone noticed that on the European CD of Olivia Rodrigo's "stupid song", around 3:02 ("I'm a car..."), there's an extra spoken-sounding vocal in one channel that isn't nearly as noticeable on Apple Music or other lossless streaming services? I've compared multiple headphones and the difference is consistent. Has anyone else noticed this?

After listening to SOUR, GUTS, GUTS (spilled) 5 songs, and You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love in song order, it definitely shows how each album is different. I also definitely see how You Seem Pretty Sad For A Girl So In Love is a love story album with a lot of musicality, GUTS/GUTS (spilled) had her branch out in different genres and show her talent in many areas (punk rock for example), and SOUR was all about heartbreak and the feminine urge to rage. It’s really impressive how different they are, yet they are all great. I personally like SOUR more after listening to all three but that is preference. If anyone has not done this exercise of listening to the albums this way, I recommend doing this. It’s a great experience! Happy listening!

I’m not really sure where she’ll submit “what’s wrong with me” i feel like it would have a better chance of a win in the rock categories because of pop duo being filled with major hits and major artists and i think that Robert would get a lot of the rock voters to vote for the song.

Basically the title. It is officially July and I’ve still not heard anything about the SpiderMan soundtrack and if Olivia is involved with it or not. But with how Olivia and Dan have been teasing this unreleased track of theirs, and that little Spiderman on the swing album cover reference, I am like 50% certain Olivia is involved with this. Still unsure and was wondering if you guys have heard anything else?

I mean, it would make sense because Olivia has suspiciously gone quiet promotional wise with Girl So In Love after the first week sales. Maybe they are filming a music video? Preparing for the tour? Or maybe they are wrapping things up and preparing for the big push of the song if this does end up coming true? Idk. Lastly, if Olivia ends up being involved with the SpiderMan movie, do you guys think it’ll be a new song or will it be a song from the Girl So In Love album pushed in there?

There is nothing in the song that would make me think that was the title (besides 1 line about being a penny in a fountain). If I heard it without knowing the title it’s still obviously “begged” right
