Thoughts on the new OneUI 8.5 on Tab
Hey, I just upgraded to OneUI 8.5 from 7, I regret it immediately. It feels so slow and sluggish especially on Tab S9 FE & some animations are gone as well.
The biggest mess is the new samsung Dex, it changed, it doesn't feel the same anymore. The new Dex interface is more like tablet interfaces rather than desktop. I wish they would make an option to bring back the classic Dex on the new upcoming updates (OneUI 9).

Anyone else's S24 FE not getting the lock screen clock blur in One UI 8.5?
Hi everyone,
I noticed that One UI 8.5 added the lock screen clock blur effect, (a tear drop button), where the wallpaper slightly blurs behind the clock.. However, on my S24 FE it doesn't seem to work at all, I've already tried changing wallpapers, customizing the lock screen and restarting the phone, but the blur effect never appears
I'd appreciate it if other S24 FE users could check and let me know if it's working on their devices?

Samsung pass, keyboard
After the recent update of samsung pass, I dont see the option of autofill in samsung keyboard. There used to be an option for autofill just like the options available in the screenshot. Device s24fe. Anyone else facing this problem? Thank you

Switching from iOS to One UI
Hi
I’m planning on getting a new phone soon, and have been debating between a new iPhone or Samsung, I’m currently on iOS, what my main concern is, if I switch over to Samsung, what happens to my photos, my passwords, contacts all that stuff.

Let's ask Samsung to optimize Samsung Notes for other laptop/PC brands
I think Samsung Notes is one of best apps for note taking.
In fact there is also a Windows version that you can download it from Microsoft Store. Even if your PC or laptop is not made by Samsung You can still install and use it but you will get an annoying pop-up whenever you run the app (first open after every Windows log on).
Based on my 2 year experience I hadn't any compatibility issue with Samsung Notes on Windows although my laptop isn't made by Samsung. Simce Samsung Notes has many users on Android because of the Galaxy phones I think it's worth it to optimize it for other computers as well (or at least add an option to disable that pop-up) and actually I think it is pretty optimized so far since I hadn't any issue.

Games getting glitchy or hanged at some points?
After this 8.5 update, some of the games i used to play very smoothly are having such issues. I have mailed the devs but they are still not sure about it as I cleared my cache, restarted phone, checked internet and everything but not found any cause.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?
Is there anyway to change my clock widget back to black from this new "black" option, that is a very annoying "modern" black aka grey. The newest update washed out so many colours and looks horrible on an OLED. Please revert.

Is there a way to make this bar larger?
Im asking because after my tablet updated to one UI 8.5, it feels smaller and it is kind of harder to use as it is a little bit more clunky. Im on a galaxy tab A11+ in Oceania.

Custom Rom for my S10 plus
Yes, I know this isn't the best place to ask, but for those with experience, what's the most stable and suitable ROM for the S10 Plus, considering the device has been unfairly treated and has received expired updates?
It's for gaming and everyday use, so am looking for an update that doesn't consume resources terribly I want to know the best stopping point starting from One UI 5 up to 8

[GOOD GUARDIANS+ RAM PLUS]
Does anyone use Ram Plus and is it necessary for the Galaxy S25 ultra? Also, for "Memory Guardian", do you guys bother with these options? Honestly not sure if these are placebo or not.
