I know a couple people have already made posts about this in the past but I just wanted to clarify, this is my first osheaga and first time in montreal so I know nothing lol.

The policy says: “All cannabis products brought to the festival site must be sealed in SQDC packaging or from any other official government source and must have been purchased legally.”

This is probably a dumb question, but does that mean that cannabis bought at dispensaries in another province (NL) is allowed? And are they VERY strict about it only being in a sealed package? (it’s a dab pen cart if that changes anything)

I’ll obviously follow the rules regardless bc i do not want my cart taken on me lol, just curious

bag policy says a mini kanken isnt allowed, so id have to buy a separate bag just for osh?? Do u think id be fine with my mini kanken still

So I started antidepressants this past winter (womp womp) and now I can’t tolerate heat well at all. I plan on wearing the least amount of clothing possible, drinking water before and during as well as adding in electrolyte packets (4L/day), and abstaining from substances. I bought the osheaga fan they had last year but honestly that won’t cut it. Any other tips for staying cool and comfy from anyone but especially my fellow SSRI folk?

I’m planning to see Kehlani on the Friday, her set ends at 6:40 is it possible to be back downtown in time to see Ariana Grande at Centre Bell for 7:30 pm?

this is going to be my first festival, so i’m wondering if it’s common to bring gifts for smaller artists?

i’m planning on getting barricade for not for radio on sunday and would love to give her a little bouquet of handmade pipe cleaner flowers if i get the chance - i don’t mind holding onto them all day (assuming they make it through security lol).

i’ve been to two of her shows before and she’s always interacting with the crowd. she usually accepts gifts after the show when people wait outside the venue, but i know that’s not really possible at a festival.

my plan is to hand it to her during one of her songs (not throw onto the stage); but if thats not possible oh well ! it was worth a shot

This is my first year coming, are we allowed to bring in hydration packets, protein bars, or any kind of snacks at all? Am I allowed to bring a bottle of sunscreen? Is there a limit on the bottle size? Any advice would help I have no clue what I am able to bring with me or what is a necessity! I would also love to bring my digital camera, but I know some venues do not allow that, if anyone knows if they’re allowed that would be great information!

So, we are coming from the States and we are trying to decide whether to drive or fly in. If we stayed in the Plateau area, is it a bit easier/less expensive to park versus Old Montreal? Can you park & ride the Metro and just leave a car outside of the city? Still wondering if staying in the Plateau area or Old Montreal is the better move or are there better spots. We are planning to use the Metro and/or rental bicycles to get to and from the festival.

I got two 3 day general admission tickets and there is another event I want to go to that is on the exact three days I was just wondering if anyone knows if they will be able to be resold on Ticketmaster right now it says to check closer to event but anyone have any extra info or past experience

This is my first time going and I bought tickets off of Seatgeek(yes I know risky). They said they were Gold Terrace seats, but I just got the ticket fully transferred to me on Ticketmaster and it just says General Admission with a Section of OR10

Does that Section mean anything or did I get scammed for a GA ticket?

Hi everyone! I’m a first time Osheaga go-er and am looking for someone to share their knowledge with me :)

I have quite a few questions about entry, specifically the lineup process for Platinum ticket holders. It says that they get to enter the venue earlier than GA, but does that mean that they get to barricade earlier too? Or is there a lineup?

Also, if anyone has knowledge about the front pit viewing area, and if it’s even worth it? It looks to be super off to the side of the stage, and not half and half. If you have any POV’s I’d love to see them! Thanks!!

Attending for the first time and curious about the festival. I'm only able to go on Saturday but want to come in on Friday to get a poster so I dont have to lug it around. Curious if anyone knows if this is possible. And if not, do they have storage lockers for merch there? Intending to mosh heavy on Saturday so don't want to lug stuff around.

Okay kinda last minute deciding to go, usually would stay like 30min or less transit from Jean Drapeau…. Has anyone ever stayed near the airport or like Laval and did you regret it….. its just soo much cheaper its starting to appeal to me lol.
