I’ve noticed on the sub that a lot of people are discussing their dream lineups and there has been a lot more guitar focused music. Tame Impala, Phoebe Bridgers, Fontaines DC, Etc.
I know personally that if The Strokes headlined ID have a stroke lol.
Any rock artists specifically that you guys wanna see?
I’ve listened to Pet Sounds, Smile Sessions, Sunflower and Surfs Up. The Beach Boys are my current hyper focus and I can’t stop thinking about them. WHAT DO I LISTEN TO NEXT :D
I see people talking about the big 20th birthday but I thought it was this year.
Ben-It’s over Isaac, the tour is starting and we don’t have a guitarist.
Russell-He’s right, it’s time to pack it in.
Issac-No… I know who to call.
(Dann Gallucci will return in Avengers Doomsday)
This year has been an absolutely awesome deep dive into their discography. Clouds Taste Metallic is their most awesome album ever and there’s so many 10/10 songs on there. I hope I’ll get the chance to see them one day:D
I’ve been loving the title track on Summerteeth lately and I can’t seem to find much info on how to play the gorgeous piano solo.
Bad Cameo by James Blake and Lil Yachty had aged SURPRISINGLY well. The production is on point, the song structures are really cool and interesting and the vocals of James Blake clean falsetto with Yachty’s signature autotune whine make for some very interesting soundscapes.
Obviously You’ve Got A Friend In Me is a classic but the man was such an insanely talented, gifted songwriter outside of Pixar.
Sail Away is my all time favourite singer songwriter album and the title track is one of the most haunting yet lush pieces I’ve ever heard.
If you wanna get into him, check out any of his first 5 albums. Self Titled, 12 Songs, Sail Away, Good Old Boys and Little Criminals.
