do yall 7k players find it more fun than 4k?

I dont rly care abt pp or anything and I can just log on and play some 4k maps and have a good time but when i try 7k i just be failing immediately and pressing the wrong keys so like if I keep at it is there a light at the end of the tunnel where it becomes more fun or should i just stick to what I enjoy

i had a thought

ok so i had a thought the other day about how cones in you're eyes respond at different speeds, and how the s-cone is the fastest, its what receives light that appears blue.

I was wondering if anyone else could try swapping the color of your skin to a blue (preferably a light blue) and see if you improve your reading or can read harder maps after getting used to it.

it might just be some thing random but if any of you guys could also try this and give a resalt it would be greatly appreciated.

also one last thing please be able to play alpha-beta and above if you are going to participate in this as i don't really think this will affect anyone that's not pretty good at the game.

How do you get a star rating overlay?

I've seen some people playing where they have an overlay with tosu where it shows a live update of the star rating during a certain section of a map.

I haven't been able to find anything and would like if someone could just send a link to where i can find something like this.

7th Dan beatmap problem

I've been having this problem in the beatmap specifically only for 7th Dan where the speed is not correct, like I use 27-28 but when I play the beatmap by thaumiel it's too slow but if I play the 7th Dan by Mrlanguage it's way too fast and I can't fix it. I've tried to adjust my speed to the beatmap but I just can't play normally.... Pls help🙏🙏

1000 SS and my best chordjack score. My final achievements before I quit acc indefinitely.

Hi guys,

It's been a while since I became an accuracy player. Back in September of 2025, I saw that one of my play, which was an SS, got lower score than a non SS play on the leaderboard. Turned out, my ratio was really bad back then, so out of both aspiration and envy, I set my heart on becoming a good acc player. Over the months, my acc and ratio have progressively gotten better and better, and I had a lot of fun, for a while. As I started getting better at acc, I also began constantly forcing myself to set scores that are too far above from my respective capability. Moreover, I have been stubbornly retrying maps over and over again until I reach those determined scores, which I then move on from to another map and redo the process again. I might not have realized it, but things have gotten less fun overtime.

As of recent, that terrible mentality coupled with my already existing mental problems have completely stripped away almost all the fun I have for acc. What used to be casual joy of getting good ratio now feels like a self-imposed chore (which it completely is). I have tried a few times to improve my mentality, but I always end up regressing back to that same old habit. I, however, have decided that I will feed into this habitude no longer. I made up my mind and would take an indefinite hiatus from mania accuracy as a whole. I won't quit VSRG entirely, but I will make sure to only play what I actually enjoy and not fall back on the old way of playing again. I would also like to switch to standard in the meantime since I have found quite some enjoyment in it.

I hope that you all are doing well in what you truly love playing and good luck to all those aspired to achieve greatness. Don't be like me.

Best regards,

Reddit acc guy

One-handed 4K questions

I'm interested in learning 4 keys with one hand. Does the hand position matter? Does it matter which keys I use for which finger? Do I use thumb-index-middle-ring or index-middle-ring-pinky? I've seen jakads play with one hand using the former style but I'm not sure who the actual best one handed players are and how they specifically play, if they are even known.

I set it up like this because I couldn't concentrate on Notes.

Seriously, the rhythm of Notes is hard to understand, there's a lot of information, and it's hard to look in the middle, so I accidentally looked down and made mistakes, which was frustrating. So, I set it up like this and it solved the problem! But it seems like it will take some time to get used to this play style.

blind alpha and beta dan play (HOW TF)

i never expected this session to be insane since i js choked a S both signicial's alpha and DDMythical's beta dan, im unsure to even 93 ts let alone above but i wouldve gotten an S if it werent for the stamina, i lost 2% on alpha and 1.5% on beta but still this score is insane for me im so crine i js cleared 10th dan before😭😭😭
