Why select which type of content is allowed and not allowed?

Kemono does not discriminate.

I understand why they remove low-favorite creator posts that take a lot of storage that is understandable. It sucks, but it's fair.

But the problem is you cannot search for them now. How are we going to let you guys know if the creator is getting popular in the future? If we can't favorite them because we can't search for them anymore?

Anyone else having this issue on Pawchive?

imdontai was one of the channels removed yesterday for some reason , can someone put his content back

it doesn't seem that hard, downloading the file in the first place probably extracts the m3u8. it also takes up less space than most images so i don't see a reason why not. for anyone saying it's inconvenient it's better than nothing and it's what we had for a long time.

While I was browsing pawchive last week I suddenly thought it could be cool to have a different client, maybe a cross-platform one, with basic needs already built-in, and maybe even a clean modern ui(leaving this for you to decide)? And some other cool stuff I've made before in the other apps that pawchive website experience was missing.

This is how this weekend project came to be, now after spending about a week working on it I'm releasing it to the people in need (if any of them even exist?) of an alternate client for pawchive, with e2ee cloud sync between your devices that you can self-host, download manager built in, smart post caching, customizable ui and so on...

Overall I'm pretty proud of what I've made in such a short time, but please keep in mind that it's not ideal and not bug-free. I'm looking forward to any feedback.

Y’all it’s not even been the full week since I made the announcement it’s legit been 2 days and iv banned 30 people for a week for posting outside the thread. The threads literally pinned at the top and when you make a post the auto mod tells you the rules.

God damn some of y’all ate stupid

I tend to use the site on my phone and so I don’t have any ad blockers and the last 2 weeks or so there has been a sudden increase in ads, to the point where it’s hard to use the site, not just ads off to the side, invisible pop ups that redirect me or open a new tab, and this seems to have only started a few weeks ago. Is anyone else experiencing this?

To all the people who have made sacrifices and imported content, we will forever be grateful to you and your contributions will be remembered with gratitude. May more souls find the means and heart to import more content and fill the void in this monotone world. WE LOVE YOU IMPORTERS

I understand that Pawchive isn't for videos or other large non-degenerate content, I'm not trying to ask for those. There's a creator who makes audios whom I really like, but everything they have is larger than the upload size on there.

And I was wondering if there might be something you guys know that I don't. What would you do if you were in my shoes?

Next person who complains about size for the next week is getting banned for a week.

Please stop blowing up mod mail over already answered questions it’s unlikely for it to result in anything but a ban and mute for miss use of mod mail. Y’all are actually killing me.

I've opened the website and searched by update date and I've noticed that the first page is all from pixiv fanbox, so is there a problem with Patreon or is it just a coincidence?

Edit: the problem is fixed now, it seemed that importing in general has stopped working from 13:00 and forward then at 20:00 it all came flooding with 10 pages worth of new updated artists

I recently just came on and looked at it today, and was wondering what happened to the overall layout of the page? I tried to press the Visit platform button, but all that happens is I get pop-up ads.

Will the size limit ever get bumped up in the future? So many of my fav artists archive zips aren't able to be downloaded because of the limit 😭

Simply put, the ads are merely symptomatic of the larger issue Pawchive is facing: Keeping the lights on. These ads, despite their annoyance, are merely paying for the bare minimum. If we want to install and maintain any new installers (Discord, SubStar, Boosty, etc.) we NEED to start pitching in. Even if a couple dozen people reading this donated a dollar, we could start allowing this site to flourish in a big way. Until something like that happens though, we're going to be stuck with ad redirects and barren options for site scraping in the near future.

Like the title asks. Considering there's also many artists that put their paywalled content behind Patreon-Exclusive discord servers I was wondering if a discord importer is going to be added, or is at the drawing board?
