It’s really hard to get good pics of Black cats. Even though her little lips and nose are barely visible I think it’s a great shot, her eyes are just so pretty.
The vet recently diagnosed with kidney problems (haven’t formally diagnosed her with kidney disease or anything yet, have to wait until her next scheduled appointment) & now must be given iv saline fluids 2x a day on top of morning & nightly medications at home. We truly thought we were going to lose her, but shes making such a good come back. Just in time for her 17th bday 💜💅
Threw in a little baby pic of her cause she’s such a cotton ball baby.
The girls are just over two now… I guess this is the life eh?! ❤️
I've been working on handcrafted 3D sculpted Persian cat medallion pendants. Each one is individually made in my small studio in Italy. Would love to hear what you guys think — would you wear something like this? Still working on perfecting the details so any feedback is welcome!
Here are some of Meeshi’s: She has to eat with a bib on otherwise she makes a gigantic mess. She loves watching hung laundry. She can’t really meow, but makes very hoarse “ehh” sounds. Her favorite toy is a string. She will wake me up by first biting my nose, then laying on top of my nose and mouth LOL. When we clean her litter boxes, she must be there to patrol.
She was 10, had a swollen throat, internally bleeding kidneys that were dying, so we had to eliminate her peacefully. Me and mom are taking her to a professional taxidermist near Circleville Ohio that specializes in animals, including Persians. The Vet told us she likely would’ve died within 24 hours. Her eyes were also cloudy and the vet told us she was also constipated. An X-Rey was done too.
She is in the ice freezer at the bottom awaiting transportation to the taxidermist.

Our Persian Geraldine doesn’t do much during day apart from sleeping and following us round waiting for food to drop. Sometimes she just sits and watches us for ages and I’m worried that she is bored especially when we are both at work but a lot of people say that’s just how Persians are.
We leave food around the house for her to hunt for and we have some toys (including a treat puzzle) but she loses interest quickly except for a piece of twine that she loves to chase around the house.
Any ideas for how to keep her more stimulated? Ideally something she can do herself when we are out of the house.
My Oscar is my forever baby boy ❤️
Does anyone else’s cat sleep like they pay the mortgage?
