Attention Manayunk/NW Philadelphia Musical Artists!!!

The booking company I work for is now booking shows at Love City Brewing in Manayunk.  We will be throwing a monthly “locals only night” with the express intention of building the strength of neighborhood musicians and DIY community by showcasing local talent. After covering expenses, all proceeds from the gig will be divided equally among participants.

This is not limited to full band performances and live concert experience is not required.  Are you writing avant-garde pop operas with your situationship?  Do you DJ circadian plant rhythms while two spiders duel with banjos?  Are you just a sad person with a guitar?  Do not fret, all are welcome as this is meant to be an opportunity for growth and building community! Please comment below with a link or feel free to DM me your info if you or anyone you know are interested.

I posted this in another philly sub-reddit last week and got some good responses. We are in need of artists that can play on the evening of September 9th which is fast approaching, but even if you can't do that date feel free to reach out. Trying to develop a solid roster of local talent that we can put on each month.

Requirements:
21+ to perform/attend
Must have at least one member living in Northwest Philadelphia (exceptions can be made at our discretion; for example, living in Bala Cynwyd, Allegheny West or immediate suburbs.  However, proximity to Love City Manayunk will be prioritized!)

Seeking Band Members In Philly

Hello! I’m looking for musicians in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to play live shows with (A drummer, a guitarist, and a bassist) in my upcoming dark, life defying tragic rock band. My songs aren’t too complicated. I am a bad musician and I can play them. I’m building a high energy (mostly) show. I've posted a video where you can see me, and hear the sound I'm going for. DM if you’re interested. Thank you very much.

August Ambient Open Mic this Thursday on Passyunk!

Hey all, my name's Ben and I host an Ambient Open Mic with my organization and hopeful future synth shop, The Low Pass. If you've never heard of it or been to one before, it’s an event we put on to create a low pressure environment for ambient and electronic musicians to play live and share their art with the community. You don’t need expensive gear to play! It is a welcoming space for everyone, whether it’s your first time playing out or you’re a veteran, or you just want to enjoy the live music.

This month we're in South Philly participating in the Passyunk Passeggiata, so stroll down the ave and stop in for some ambient music!

P.S. Yes the venue is a real estate office.
