what tea does philippine airlines serve?

I recently flew with Philippine Airlines, and as someone who doesn't drink tea, I got curious and tried it. I also had it on my return flight because I liked it so much. Does anyone know the brand or at least the flavor?

PAL's Shortchanged Service

It always feels like this airline is shortchanging their passengers. In as much as I want to be loyal with them, other airlines just give MORE despite having the same or sometimes cheaper airfare. I was recently onboard their B777. The seats are OLD and the cabin smells durian 🫢. The entertainment system is also jurassic and barely responsive. The food is mediocre. It seems like they always try to cut corners just to earn more profit. The members of the crew were lovely, though. The only reason I fly international with them is that NAIA Terminal 1 delivers more efficient service than T3.

Traveling with Cat

Good day po. I will be flying with my cat from Davao to Manila. I would like to reserve a slot for my cat/pet for the flight. Im fully aware that cats are being placed on the cargo bay of the plane.

I already contacted customer service and was advised to inform PAL one day prior to departure, but the instructions were not very clear. I have also been trying to call the hotline, however no one is answering.

May I please know the exact process and requirements to confirm my pet reservation? Thank you.

Mabuhay miles one way ICN - MNL redemption fees

Question re: one-way mile redemption from Incheon to Manila.

Tried redeeming one-way flight from ICN to Manila and available pa naman but yung additional fees (which I know are part) are excessively high. Nasa 230,000 + krw siya, almost 10,000 php. I was able to previously redeem flights before na usually 100 USD lang yung additional so I’m quite surprised. I called their hotline na and they did confirm na dahil sya sa surge ng fuel surcharge but couldnt give me an estimate kung ano yung usual amount ng extra fees pag walang fuel surcharge surge.

I just want to know if ano po yung usual extra fees for this route (if anyone has redeemed this before). I heard magdecrease kasi yung surcharge soon sa May 16 so i'm thinking if I should just book a roundtrip ticket with another carrier or wait it out to see if bababa rin yung fees for flight redemption.

Thanks in advance!

Overcharged for $250 just to change a typo

I know na meron silang policies for this one pero it’s kinda nihumane for them to charge $250 just to correct a typo that was caught in minutes. Cebpac offers it for free nga. What are your thoughts on this one?

PAL Carry-On Luggage Query

https://preview.redd.it/4rfp4p4dab0h1.jpg?width=1417&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=158b3d161f699906a8dc67855db37dc9d40c156a

Hello sub,

I have a flight later with PAL. Its been a long time since I last flew, and I have a question about "carry-on luggage".

The pic above was taken from their website. Questions:

  1. Can the cabin bag be "carried-on" with the 'small bag'? Or is it strictly one or the other?
  2. Reason I'm asking is I have two luggage. One is a cabin bag that fits the dimension requirements, and I also have a camera backpack that fits the dimension requirements for the "small bag. Can I carry both on the cabin? Or will I have to check-in my "cabin bag"?

Thanks!
