Haneda to Manila

Haneda to Manila

Flew to Tokyo via Cebpac and used PAL otw home and I found the Cebpac plane to be a much more pleasant experience.

The PAL customer service from checkin alone was so bad, the flight was so turbulent and super init sa plane. The only thing the PAL flight had going for it was that it flew out of Haneda but even then we landed in NAIA t1 and had to take the bus to the terminal on a rainy manila morning.

Carry-on baggage inquiry

Hi guys! Just a quick question. I've been using my rimowa original cabin for carry on with pal. I never had problems naman, baggage always 7kg or less. I think I used it twice or thrice already. But I've been reading post about stricter sizes for carry on. Pasok pa din ba ang original cabin size for pal? Thank you. ❤️

Cabin Aboard Philippine Airlines A330-300 RP-C8783 PR453/454 MNL-GES June 2026

Just wanted to share some pics I took through my phone of my flight PR453 Manila-General Santos (MNL-GES) last June of this year flew on RP-C8783 one of PAL Tri-class configured A330-300 which was my first time to enjoy In-seat IFE since usually when flying with PAL I get the A321 even between GES-MNL since I flew in the afternoon.

First time PAL Business Class (MNL-JFK)

Flying PAL Business Class for the first time. Just wondering how the food and drinks service actually works in business class. Can I just ask the crew for food whenever I want, or is it still mostly timed meal services?

Business Class on A350-1000 MNL-YYZ and YYZ-MNL Review

42 seats in Business Class, seated 2K (to YYZ) and 8A (to MNL).

Definitely worth it especially for a 16 hour flight, compared to the old aircraft flying this route.

Seats: the full lie flat seats were comfortable and spacious, with sliding privacy doors (best feature by far). They now provide duvet pad/cover for the seat besides your comforter. The huge 4k touch screens were great too. Movie and show options were not so great, but then again to each their own.

Food: I usually avoid beef dishes on PAL flights before but they leveled up with their dishes. The Filet Mignon was so tender and flavorful. The bread was served as if it was freshly baked, and the Inasal was amazing. Their nilaga as an appetizer was a highlight dish too. Besides the dinner and breakfast service, you can order their infamous arroz caldo and other rigatoni along with fruits and chips as well.

Wifi: still no wifi on board. Sucks but you’d either be eating or sleeping on the flight.

Overall, i was very lucky to have experienced flying on this aircraft. Not affiliated with PAL, just a regular passenger.

Is there a way to use Mabuhay Miles to book Alaska Airlines flight?

Hello, I'm currently transferring my Amex miles to partner airlines, but I'm only allowed to transfer on PAL Mabuhay Miles and Delta Skymiles for U.S. flights as Atmos Rewards is not included. The flight is MNL- EWR. Alaska Allows to book PAL flights using Atmos Rewards. Does PAL also allows the same like transferring from Mabuhay Miles to Atmos Rewards? If not I'm considering transferring to Delta Skymiles instead.

Request: Can someone check miles cost for this route?

We are trying to book our honeymoon with miles/Philippine Airlines, but it will not allow us to conduct a "book with miles" search without a certain balance. We would be transferring in miles but do not want to waste them.

If someone can search this route, it would be greatly appreciated!

ROUND TRIP

Departure: NYC

Destination: BKK

Departure Date: 23-Dec-2026

Return Date: 6-Jan-2027

Pax and Cabin: 2 passengers, Business

MNL to LAX seems to use new aircraft

Previous flight from LAX to MNL was on old plane, was worried it would be the same on the way back.

Sa PAL ticket na walang baggage allowance: ilang kg ang carry-on? Pwede ba thin backpack at crossbody bag?

Nagbook ako ng international PAL ticket na without baggage allowance.
Questions at ilang kilos ang allowed na carry-on?
Pwede bang magdala ng backpack at
crossbody bag?
o isang bag lang talaga ang pinapayagan?
