Clicked these few photos while walking on this beautiful road with my partner. It started raining a while after and it was just so beautiful.

I’m new to photography and all feedback is welcome.

Edit: Thank you guys for this amazing response!! This has motivated me to keep on clicking photos!! You guys are too sweet 😭

Mt Fuji during December 2025

Image 1 and Image 5 are color graded. No photo could do justice to what we saw in real.
Image 1 and 2 taken at lake Kawaguchi
Image 3 is the Kawaguchi bus stop
Image 4 is the famous lawson store with view. There are many lawsons and other convenience stores with this view!
Image 5 while leaving fuji, taken from bus.

Alaska!

Some of my fave shots from a recent holiday to Alaska. The coolest part was watching a baby learn whale stuff (breaching, lunge feeding, diving etc) which I have some shots from at the beginning (I don’t have the pixels to fully crop in on the whales, so I’m struggling a bit with the crop on those) but I tried to include a wide variety of shots (hard to pick 20 out of 5000!)

Shot on iPhone 17 and an old Canon Powershot SX40. Would love any advice on composition, lighting (esp. editing the forest shots), or gear! Just don’t be mean abt my last photo I know it looks like garbage but I am very proud of it :)

Just getting into masking and local adjustments on Lightroom as well but most of these are totally unedited or just global adjustments on iPhone. I might post the fully edited shots later idk.

Thanks for your time!
