How do I wrap this text image around the white circle

I have used the whole adobe suit on and off for years. And every time it frustrates me that what seems obviously simple…is never simple. I’ve used google and that for hours and I must just not know the right things to search up.

I’ve tried turning it into a vector in illustrator and pasting or placing it in and that doesn’t work either.

I’m using a screenshot so I don’t have to go through the process of finding a font, installing it, and then learning how to type what I want

I want this Tolkien script to wrap the inside of the ring and be a play of the One Ring. There must be an easy way…please help lol

I’m using Photoshop 2020

Solved! Way too long later, ruined my sleep shuffled for it. But it’s done lol

How long did it take for you to get good at making composites?

Almost every composite I make, especially with people, look pretty bad. I’ll use check layers, try to match noise between the subject and background, etc. I’ll spend 2 hours on a composite and look away for like 5 minutes and then look back and realize how horrible it is. The ones that look good are usually the ones that take me just a couple minutes and the lighting was already relatively close.

At the same time I haven’t been seriously into using Photoshop for that long (about a year) and I’ve only really been trying to make realistic composites for about a month now. So I know I’ll probably improve with time.

How long did it take for you to just “get it” when it comes to making natural, realistic composites? Do you have any tips that made a big difference for you?

Where to find photoshop artist?

Hi all!

I'm working on a project to launch the highest quality AI generated short film. As you may know, AI can generate slop and characters and scenes can vary/hallucinate from frame-to-frame.

To solve this, I am looking to find an artist to do a few things:

* Correct/alter hallucinated images and scenes with specific instructions;

* Create specific character poses/stances/actions (will probably be a rolling scope of work)

There are 4 central characters and I could say about 30-40 poses needed.

How would I go about sourcing an artist to help with this? I am familiar with dribble, would sites like this be the best route?

Came to ask the experts. Thanks in advance.

P.S. if this breaks rule #1, feel free to take down. Felt like this was more about advice and scope of work as opposed to a single picture.

Bleeding Insight art by diablo

A conceptual piece diving into the depths of dark fantasy. A study of isolation, contrast, and the solitary nature of perception when all else is stripped away.

I am tired of Adobe shoving AI down our throats!

Why would I want to edit with AI? Are you taking us for granted, giving up precise workflows, and resorting to half-assed experiments to get everyone to use your apps?

Slit scan style landscape photo

I'm not sure if slit scan is the right term for what I'm trying to do but I think it might be slit scan adjacent...

I'm creating a piece of art by taking a landscape photo of a lake and trees, turning each vertical line of pixels into a layer and then aligning the horizon so that it becomes a perfectly flat line effectively leveling all the trees with each other. I've found a script to turn all the lines into layers and i'm using a guide to align the tops of the trees manually (which, with a 4800 pixel wide image is pretty time consuming!). Is there any trick that can make the aligning faster? I asked gemini and it suggested using displacement maps but it doesn't seem to be working the way I hoped it would (I could just be doing it wrong). To be clear, I know it will be incredibly distorted and I'm looking for that. I also want the individual lines of pixels to poke up and down into a blank white canvas.

Any tips?

Removing pencil markings from this image

As you can see, there are a lot of pencil markings on this piece of music. I want to be able to remove all of the pencil markings but keep the original printed ink. I know you can do this by using the eraser or brush tools to manually remove the pencil markings, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a better way. Thank you in advance!

I am sick of this. Dozens of tutorials. My hair refinement never looks close to these. Is my Refine Edge Brush Tool broken?

I am in Photoshop 26 and everything looks the same in every tutorial until the Refine Edge Brush tool comes up/ My tool does not act the same. I have tried all the tutorials listed below. Am I an idiot? Is the tool different in 26?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5L9GCf7BXmY&t=71s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Z0CFC7rg8U&list=WL&index=14&t=79s

I follow everything until they use the "refine edge brush" and I get nothing like what they show.
It always makes everything WAY worse

Are they vibe-coding now? RAM usage out of control!! (Illustrator, Photoshop, Mac)

(see my specs at bottom)

I currently have both Illustrator and Photoshop open on my M1 Macbook, both just idling without any docs open. Photoshop is using 15gb of RAM, Illustrator is using 6gb, and AIRobin is using 5gb. This is NUTS! I'm not sure when it started, I think maybe a few updates ago, but this is really out of hand. It wasn't that long ago that I could easily have Photoshop, Indesign, and Illustrator all open at the same time, with fairly complex docs, and my system would hardly break a sweat.

It's bad enough that as a professional designer, I'm pretty much locked into paying rent to Adobe for the rest of my working life. But now they are continuing to jam gimmicky AI features into every update while simultaneously degrading their actual products. I'm convinced they've just started vibe-coding this stuff. "Does a text change in a packaging design file make my (32gb of RAM) laptop sound like jet engine? Sure, but at least now I can rotate this doodle!"

Anyone else dealing with this and/or have a solution? I've tried all the normal troubleshooting steps, please please do not tell me to reset prefs or reinstall. But let me know if a previous version is confirmed more stable!

My specs:
2021 M1 Macbook Pro, 32gb RAM, Sequoia 15.7.7
Illustrator 30.4, Photoshop 27.5, Indesign 21.3

Photoshop has become a unusable piece of software

I’m >40 and I’ve been using Photoshop since the early versions as a kid. For years I considered it one of the best software products ever made. I even used to laugh at Linux guys using GIMP.

Now karma hit back.

I have a 5090 Ti, 128 GB RAM, 14900K, Windows 11 — and Photoshop is somehow still unbearably slow. UI lag, slow file dialogs, random freezes. And the moment you accidentally touch some AI feature like Generative Fill, the whole app turns into a dying elephant.

Seriously, how do you make software this sluggish on hardware like this?

Feels like Adobe turned Photoshop into a bloated corporate monster instead of maintaining a fast, reliable tool. At this point they either need to rewrite it properly or just admit the Windows version is rotting.

After all these years I’m cancelling my subscription. Sad to say, but Adobe is starting to remind me of Flash/Flex era Adobe again.
