Prodigy
This is a recent “build” of mine. It’s a 4.25” Springfield Prodigy with EGW internals, an Icarus Precision Grip Module, Red Dirt Trigger and an Underworld Arms Comp. I call it the “Pit Viper by Wishdotcom”. I was skeptical about seeing much improvement in the shooting experience with the add on comp but it makes a huge difference. Paired with the added weight of the grip module and new internals, this thing rips!
KustomWorx Vulcan 1911 double stack build is fast, flat and accurate!!!
Here's a video of me double tapping. The V10 porting work really well. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The EAA Witness 2311 CMXx is a nice 1911DS/2011 starter pistol to go with if you want to get into this type of gun in a reasonable budget.
I've been testing this one out for about a week and a half now. I've taken the time to lighten up the trigger weight to 3 lb because that 4 and 1/2 lb trigger was ridiculously heavy. I changed the recoil spring from that 14lbs to 11lbs spring weight. Once I did that and I ran it next to my Kimber which is twice the cost it compares really well with it. What I like about it is because it's a 4.25 in but it has a big comp on the one-piece barrel and it works. So essentially you have less reciprocating mass and I think I'm going to try to port it in the future too. But because of the cost not being so expensive you can experiment and have a really flat shooting gun for a really low price.
Also, I'm trying out a cheap budget optic that's about 150 bucks from Amazon (CP1 Micro Red Dot Sight,Multi-Reticle/6 MOA Dot) but it reminds me so much of a holosun and it runs great. Plus the dot is very clear.
Milo system live fire range
For those who were asking me about the range he is it in gaming action. I usually shoot just paper but the games are fun as well. This is a simple game but zombies always takes the cake. Gun in fusion xp comp
The Kustom Worx Vulcan is everything that the reviewers boast about! 🔥🔥🔥
Scott built a really nice shooter!!! And the V10 porting is awesome.
My First Gun
For my first ever piece I decided to go for the Kimber DS Warrior 9mm. Gave her a full length guide rod and im probably gonna change out the trigger and thumb safeties as well. But for a first gun and a dip in the 2011 market, I couldn’t be happier.
Walther PDP F Pro-X PMM and Ruger RXM Radian Ramjet Afterburner
My rather expensive Parker Mountain Machine Comped Walther PDP F-series Pro-X PMM with a direct mount Holosun solar powered green dot, and my "budget build" Ruger RXM with the Full-size Magpul Grip Module and the fiber-optic powered Ruger Ready Dot, with the Radian Ramjet Barrel & Afterburner Compensator. Both are fitted with the Olight PLX weapon light.
45 acp lead round ball
Will black powder behind a lead round ball cycle a 1911?
Substituting reloading recipe components (45 acp)
I want to start reloading .45 ACP, but I'll need to substitute some component brands, such as the brass, primer, and bullet. I understand that bullet substitutions should generally be the same weight and type, but I'm unsure how much the other component substitutions matter.
For load data that lists only one powder charge rather than a starting and maximum charge, is it appropriate to reduce the listed charge when working up a load with substituted components? If so, what is the recommended approach?
2011 trade

Range Day Sunday with the Atlas Apollo, Dark Forge Reaper and Miller Precision Ranger 9x
I was able to splice together the 3 videos of today's shooting to see what the recall impulse looked like. I just got the Reaper ported from Dark Forge to match the Kovert collaboration and I always bought the Miller Precision Ranger 9x Kovert. It's the updated v2 version. (Miller Precision had amazing customer service, FYI)
Both the Miller Precision and the Dark Forge have the comp and porting package. I just decided to bring out the atlas Apollo because it's new in my collection and I'm still getting used to shooting it and breaking it in. 😁
Using 2 Pistols for 2 Kinds of Matches
I use the Beretta for USPSA carry optics and the DR920 for PCSL. Sometimes my brain gets confused when I use two different pistols for shooting and whatever automaticity I’ve honed after shooting one gets thrown out when I switch. Thoughts about dedicated pistol use or is it advantageous to build skills for both.
Is this how it's supposed to look on top and under trigger guard.
I know it's distressed that's why I want it. Just making sure that it's not all chewed up from a holster.
It's 350 that's not a bad price for the trophy edition is it? Only like 1k made right?
Thanks in advance.
Kimber DS Warrior 45 ACP Initial Review
Alright guys I know my shooting sucks in the video it’s been 5+ months since shooting last and I’ve had some health issues so shooting was put on the back burner. The pistol is not the issue here it’s me getting back into the swing of things. I am pulling my shots low left as you’ll see in the video but either way wanted to bring this to you so you can see it in action since it seems no one else has. Right now all my ammo is Federal FMJ but I am getting some other flavors soon and a Chrono so there is more to come.
