Howdy and welcome back to the series where I look at some characters that I did not expect to like, but ended up enjoying in the long run.

Today’s episode comes from one of the most classic anime out there that I have barely seen mentioned on this subreddit.

That’s right! Today we are going into Monster Musume!

Zombina is the character that I did not expect to like but ended up really enjoying in the process.

She is one of those characters that actually is very enjoyable for their personality, and honestly she is super fun too. I appreciate and am a sucker for Tomboys, and oh my goodness she checks all of the boxes. What’s even crazier is that she actually is into Zombie movies, and I enjoy zombie films games, and TV Shows myself! Whether that be TWD, Left 4 Dead 2, or anything related to that.

Oh and she is also a gun nut just like me, and also qualifies as a Tactical Waifu! There is honestly not much more to say about her, but honestly I think she is by far one of the most slept on characters in the series and deserves more attention.

In today’s episode, it is none other than the one and only!

LEONE!!!

At first I didn’t think much of her, until I saw what she was capable of. And OH MY GOD SHE IS SO PEAK OF A CHARACTER THAT SHE TOPS UP THERE IN TERMS OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND ENJOYMENT.

And I will admit, she has the best energy and is super positive and uplifting with her personality. She even managed to help convince Tatsumi to join night raid too, which I think is neat. Also out of all the characters in Akame Ga Kill, I would say that Leone probably had the least tragic death. Yes it was sad, but at least she dies peacefully and not brutally.

The Teigu that she has is also pretty cool, and onto more about her positive and uplifting personality, even when things are looking down, she never gives up. She does not overthink the past or worry about the future, no, she fully enjoys the food, drinks, and friends she has in the moment, and always looks on the bright side of life. Whether she is stealing Najenda's liquor, teasing Mine, or eating massive amounts of food with Akame, her energy forces the other members to relax, smile, and remember what they are fighting to protect.

And I will also admit, she is a badass and is hot as hell lol.

GUN APPRECIATION POST MONDAYS!

Today we have the one and only! FN FNC and the SAAB AK5 Rifles. They are the same gun, just one is made by a different manufacturer, and also a quick blooper from me, I accidentally put 20th Century on the AK5 when I meant to put 21st Century, that was a mistake on my part.

Anyways back to the FNC itself. What to say about it?

I am more of an HK33 enjoyer as I find the rifle to be objectively better, but I can also appreciate the FNC and the work that was put into it. They tried to make a cheaper alternative to the M16 rifle, and that they did. Oh and of course Heat and Jormungand was a big reason why people began appreciating the FNC a lot more over the years.
