I heard Voyager for the first time

Then for the second and third time. I just wanted to place on record, again, my gratitude for Polly's absolutely surpassing Grace. It's the only description I can summon for that sublime piece of work.

We are truly blessed.

Let England Shake tour cue cards

One more from the collection of items donated by PJ Harvey to the V&A Museum – a set of cue cards with ‘points of concentration’, given to Polly by theatre director Ian Rickson, used during the Let England Shake tour as prompts before taking to the stage.

Rate one of my favorite PJ songs on a scale of 1 to 10. For me, it's an 11/10, the vibe is so intense and powerful.

Is there an audio book of Orlam?

I’m reading it for the first time and I feel like I’m not getting a full appreciation for the Dorset dialect without hearing the sound of it. I found a couple videos on YouTube of PJ reading excerpts. Is there a full length audio anywhere?

If "Voyager" is a hint at the musical direction of Polly's next album, then I absolutely cannot wait.

An ambient/classical album from her would be so awesome.

Do you ever think about the fact that she literally does not need to do anything?

An accomplished artist like Polly could have retired in the 90s and enjoyed her millions, but she is o it there reinventing herself with new personalities, worlds, instruments and vocal register with each album. Even fashion. We are lucky she is still doing this and keep raising the bar. A bit more appreciation would be nice (I keep seeing criticism of her for “not going back to rock”??? She still does rock and about 10 genres. Thanks for coming to my TED talk, fam. ❤️
