I First Read About it From a Magazine (1987) : Her early Recording and Slammer Changed the Title to Who’s That Girl ?

Yes, originally the movie was called Slammer.
La Isla Bonita was going to be released.
You can Dance was shelved.
And her early recording in Europe. You can listen on YouTube. I don’t like the song.

To me at least. The song was just not right for her voice. Opinions ?

Pixies - Death To The Pixies [2CD] (1997) Including LIVE in Utrecht CD !

I thought if I were to get the best compilation by one of my favourite bands, I might as well splurge on the 2CD set.

Limited edition is you keep something that most fans don’t have. But is this really limited ?

There’s nothing wrong with the CD or the Live CD but the artworks/the inner booklet, oh dear ! 4AD decided to smudge/smear the artworks to make them more… artsy ?

[VIEWER DISCRETION : Contains Real Footage of Space Shuttle Explosion from Channel 4 Series - The Trip (1999) ] Mogwai - Tracey …The Most Haunting Song by Mogwai on a Soundtrack.

Tracy or Tracey (on the soundtrack) was used for this documentary called The Trip.

It was done by DJ Downfall. He spliced the Mogwai track and play in on the segment above. There’s also the original TV commentator narrating the event. This also put on the segment above.

We all know Tracy is about Tracy Chapman (the American black folk singer) that Mogwai loved.
And the original Tracy on Mogwai Young Team had the Mogwai boys doing prank phone call on their label boss, saying there’s a fist fight between the boys in the studio.

On the segment above, the prank call is edited out and instead we hear the original tv commentator narrating the event instead.

Like I said, if you are haunted, upset by rocket ship explosion, please don’t watch.

The Silver Apples - Fractal Flow 7” (1996) [Released after 26 Years Hiatus; Cover was by Andy Warhol]

The cover slightly soiled by the termites, everything else including the vinyl in perfect condition.

They released this after 26 years hiatus. The cover was done by Andy Warhol when Simeon Coxe was an associate at Warhol famous Factory studio in the 60’s.

Pet Shop Boys - Disco (1986) & Disco 2 (1994)

My legacy of PSB Disco series is these 2.
8 years in between.
To me, the best of their years.
Agree to disagree. ✌🏽

Disco 3 also have their own songs.
Disco 4 and Disco 5 are their remixes on other artists…Madonna, David Bowie, Tina Turner, Oasis or was it Noel Gallagher ?

I might have heard the other 3 Disco’s but I won’t own them.

Anybody has the complete set ?
