What’s Next?
Here’s my Miles CD collection, what should I look for and check out next?
Kind of Blue vinyl
Found this at a random antiques shop in Tacoma, WA. There was a whole section for Miles Davis, and I told myself I would buy Kind of Blue if they had it. Not only did they have it, but it was in great condition!
What Should Be My Next Purchase?
I have the ones crossed out plus a few others: The Birth Of the Cool and The Complete Birth Of The Cool, Miles 54: the Prestige Recordings, and 'Round About Midnight. Where should I go next?
EDIT: Thanks for all the suggestions! I should mention however that I love his Blue Miles/At Midnight/Love Songs era, and can barely make it through Witches Brew without giving up (I know a lot of you are probably screaming, "BURN THE HERETIC!"), if that helps.
Happy Early Father's Day to Me
From the same wonderful family that gave me '54 and '55. As a big fan of Miles Davis, these recent collections of the Prestige Recordings have been a joy to listen to.
