Jazz Fest 1976
dad had some old images scanned from when we were growing up. My first Jazz Fest. 1976. Also I am guessing my first sip of beer.
Mitch Paone
I am just now learning about u/dia_mitch passing. It’s terrible news. He was a very kind and open creative who I had the opportunity to work with when he was just blasting off from New Orleans to New York. He designed a few Dirty Coast shirts in the very beginning. New Orleans So Far Behind Were Ahead was one of his. These are images from when he and u/brycewymer had a show together at my old Canary gallery on Julia. In my thoughts.
Adding a social layer to Wikipedia
I have always wanted a space to talk to people and share ideas on the pages found within Wikipedia. There is the Talk page for Wikipedians, but I have always found it clunky and not really a space to discuss pages within Wikipedia. So I started to build this site a few weeks ago.
Seeing Rush in Chicago
It has been years since I have seen them. Can't wait.https://openarchives.co/card/Rush%20(band)
OpenArchives.co
Building a new social network built around real things and real interests. Take a look. Kick the tires. Request features.
The idea is to find and "collect" pages you can assemble into decks. Have discussions, take quizzes, find news/updates via subjects from history.
All built upon Wikipedia and trying to make it a tool for raising funds for the Wikimedia Foundation.
Living With Water
Working on the second report for The Nola Files. This one all about our relationship with water and how we need to prepare for the changing climate.

Obsessed now with Potential vs Captured when trading
Now, instead of my focus on what is made every day, it's on what % was captured to train myself for how to spot signals.
This Is Backwards
Trying to pull all city data into one portal.
https://thenolafiles.com/scorecard
The data the city makes public is spread across close to 70 dashboards and embedded in maps. Trying to find a way to consolidate. Hoping that eventually, City Hall will make their data open to the public via API. S&WB 100-year-old pipe dream, I know.
