Gorillaz Phase 8 Collection

This is my collection of everything I own for phase 8, The Mountain! Between a new album, the 25 year anniversary, and House of Kong, there was a lot of merch released for this phase! This is everything I was able to find and afford leading up to the album's release, although there's a lot I wasn't able to get.

There were a lot of items at HOK I wasn't able to get due to budgeting on the trip (I would've spent a full $1000 there if I could). Also as amazing as the liquid filled vinyl looks, I am not dropping $200+ on a single LP right now, especially on my pay lol.

My favorite thing I got from this phase is the memory of getting to see this fantastic album live in Los Angeles, where I also got to visit House of Kong. Gorillaz has been my favorite band for as long as I can remember and it was really special getting to see them after all these years.

Also ya gurl had to grab those ugly bootleg plushies because just look at them they're so ugly I love them.

2D IS 6'2

I've seen some people debating on whether 2D and the other members lie about his height constantly, since he is often drawn about the same height as Murdoc, and even a bit shorter sometimes.

When you look at him next to the door in the DoYaThing mv, his head nearly touches the top of the doorframe. And seeing as doors in the UK and London (where the house is) are 6'6, I'd say it suits.

Jamie and le artists are probably just inconsistent.

Hot take: I like noodle’s new pre-humanz backstory retcon better than the original

alr before we get the pitchforks hear me out, noodle wasn’t sa’d, she was able to escape before anything happened and honestly ppl not being able to FATHOM a character they love going through sa says alot about how we as a society view ppl differently once we learned they were sa’d BUT THATS A TOPIC FOR ANOTHER DAY. Anyways I think it’s rlly empowering having her free so many victims and be able to leave that scenario unscaved say what you will but personally it makes me happy to see someone in the same situation take back control and be able to liberate others. Ik it’s just a filler story but I just like that they are able to bring up this topic in a respectful manner and give noodle the resolution all victims wish they had. So before you cover your ears and yell because it makes u uncomfortable think about the ppl who actually had to live it.

Is there genuinely any fucking proof for this. Damon writes all of his songs and doesnt just give them out to ppl.

Whats even worse is that the person who started this rumor on tiktok is probably just an undercover bbnogoodsongs agent, i say this as bbno$ commented under the video himself and said "legendary" + they give no proof other than a reddit thread that they conveniently cant share
