I have to admit, I am pretty into it. Saw a YT doc on them and was like thats pretty good music

(I had only heard Dear God before). So I got a couple CDs including the Atmos Skylarking.

Kinda cool timing cuz I was gifted an older car that only haa a CD player (a good reason to go back to physical media).

Anyway, Skylarking is pretty damn cool on Atmos...while not at all psychedelic, there definitely are nods to the trippy element...I hear bits of Floyd, Beatles, and they have admitted influence from The Kinks.

I'll have to pick a night to listen to the Atmos version on Grass.

Nothing to ask or anything, just pointing out even us Olds are still finding this band.

I work in an Australian retail store. We have a corporate play list for the music. It previously mostly top hits from the 2000s to current.
A month ago, they started playing some top hits from the 80’s and 90’s, which I was pleased about because you can only heard Riptide and Viva La Vida so many times. Last week the selection became much more random, blues songs from the 60’s, rap, country plus all the usual favourites.
BUT THEN, today I was serving a customer and heard a very familiar guitar riff and drum beat and “1, 2, 3, 4, 5 senses working o-ver time!” I was so excited that told the customer “oh my gosh, they’re playing this song and they’ve never played it before, it from my favourite band and they’ve never played it so I’m so excited!”
