I am Groot

Gosh I'd had this planter for years but forgot it hidden away. Should he have a more brazen plant for effect? Lol

Canned Peas

I saw this online this winter and knew I had to jump on the sweet peas trend. The difference is mine are planted in 9 ounce clear plastic cups. I heated up the end of a wire to melt drainage holes in the bottom of each cup. Then I placed cuttings of my Senecio rowleyanus to root in a fast draining soil mix. A few months on a sunny windowsill and voila!

When it’s time to water the cups are removed from the cans, I water until they drain out, then they go back into their cans.
