Hi im new to Playnite and have recently been playing around with it and also streaming like apollo/artemis.
Is there anyway, for me to be able to Launch Playnite/FSE as soon as a controller is connected or I am streaming to my device and then exit both on exit/disconnect?
the only option so far that sort of works is Omniconsole however I have to click it from my desktop first. Thank you!
When I start a game, and then exit it, Playnite remains minimized. How can I correct this?
Is there any way to bypass launchers (at least the simpler "choose a resolution"-type ones) for games in Playnite?
Is it possible for the installation prompts to be in-UI?
I see that there are some "remove duplicates" add-ons, so I'll explore those, but can I make it so that it keeps duplicate games that I have on multiple separate platforms? Similarly, is there one that'll hide some games that have additional assets like manuals that im currently seeing listed in my games library?
I got a plugin that was supposed to help me auto-categorize games but it does not seem to work and so instead of being able to filter (for example) for games in certain genres or release years, i just hafta scroll through thousands of games in my librarby. Is there something I'm missing that'll help me auto-categorize games in a way that is useful in full-screen mode?
Apollo/Moonlight related: the computer im streaming FROM is great, the home network is great, but the laptop kinda sucks (2018ish Dell "gaming laptop"). There is a slight lag with controller responsiveness after scrolling for a while. I have my speed set to max over the network. Is there something I could do better?
Lastly, just looking for recs for skins or plugins or whatever to help deal with/organize/enprettify a massive library of thousands of games.
Hello, i sync my steam account to playnite, and with windowed playnite, i launch slay the spire with mods correctly, but when i launch my game in fullscreen playnite, my game launch vanilla ?? how can i change path for fullscreen playnite to launch my game modded ?

I'm using the Aniki theme for Playnite and I'm trying to make the background box behind the games covers fully transparent, but I can't figure out how.
I've tried changing some settings, but the background is still visible. Does anyone know how to make it completely transparent, or which file/style I need to edit?

Hi I want to custom sort games. I do not want to use any available "sort by" options. Say I have about 80 games in total to sort, I can give the sorting name from 1 to 9 and after 9, I can continue from A to Z. Games get sorted up to Z as intended, but after Z, what sorting name can I give to the remaining games so that these can be also sorted the way I want as well. Thanks!
Has anyone fully got playnite to act like a console? What I’m looking for is to fully use a controller from the moment I turn on my pc, no login, straight into a console like ui. Is it possible to say press the Xbox/playstation button once in a game to open a menu similar to the steam decks to close the game and return to the ui to open another game? What’s been everyone’s experience with having a full console experience.

Hi everyone, I just redownloaded playnite but I'm having a problem with battle net: it correctly imports mwIII, mw2019 and vanguard, but mwII doesn't find it.. yet they are all installed in the same folder, do you have any ideas?
I have already tried installing media codecs from windows store and installing more metadata addons and the details image fixer addon but I still get these X's. When I right click and go to the image link the image does show so they do exist. Any help would be greatly appreciate bc this would make playnite perfect for me :D
For example, I want it to be left to right: All games, Recently Played, Most Played, Steam, Epic, Playstation. (Im using Solaris btw).
When i switch to horizontal mode on any fullscreen skin the quality of the covers degrades i tried many solutions to fix nothing worked
I just started to play around with Playnite and having issues with using themes in fullscreen mode, I have tried several themes inluding Ankii Remake and now Solaris and I always get these errors. Any ides how to fix these.
I would prefer a explenation in laymans terms cause Im a bit of a dummy 😞.

I just started running the Toggle theme. I made sure I have all the required and recommended extensions and settings, but these "boxes" (seen in the top right corner of each game and here on the left of each option) don't have the proper assets. What should I do to fix this?

I’m using the Aniki Remake theme, together with all the required plugins, but I’m having an issue with the banner layout.
In the black area at the top, I think the game cover image should appear, but it is not showing on my site. The rest of the layout seems to work, but that specific banner section stays empty.
Could you please help me understand what is causing this and how I can fix it?
For reference, I’m using the theme correctly and all required plugins are installed and active.
