Bandera Mountain and Little Bandera Mountain (again), WA - Rainier for Robert

Rainier for Robert.

If you know you know. Reddit has been getting upset with me lately and has been flagging my posts as spam so I'm refraining from posting my usual spiel. Hopefully this condensed version doesn't nuke my account.

If you're interested in my mission you can check out my previous posts on my account or follow the Rainier for Robert subreddit I made at Rainier for Robert.

Number 20. Bandera Mountain has been bagged. Little Bandera Mountain doesn't count, I already did it.

Rainier for Robert.

Deputies say an 18-year-old Poulsbo driver rear-ended another car, hurled slurs, fled the scene, and then kicked a deputy after his arrest.

Poulsbo Place II Proposed Development

If you live in Poulsbo Place, you likely received notice of a new application for the empty lot next to the post office. The public comment period opens 6/26 and goes through 7/10.

This latest iteration (called The Nora and Valari) features two, four story buildings with a total height for the building on 3rd Ave at 116'. (Height plus sea level and grading)

The two buildings would include 84 apartments, 1400 sq ft of retail space, and 140 underground parking spaces.

This will definitely negatively affect those with a view on the streets off of 4th Ave (bill block views below this height) as well as being taller than anything else in the Poulsbo Place neighborhood area.

In addition, the building that would face Jensen has a flat roof and would be the only non gabled roof in Poulsbo Place and surrounding buildings, so looking down on this would be similar to the roof of a big box store.

Please make your comments via email or drop them off in person to Nikole Coleman at ncoleman@cityofpoulsbo.com
