Any idea who she is?

Any idea who she is?

Years ago my father made a custom card of her from cutting her out of a PWI, but I can't find any information on her... Anybody have any knowledge on her?

Which match would you choose to get your friend into wrestling?

Scientific technique style Steamboat vs Savage or brawl and blood Piper vs Valentine.

I have been saying it for the last 2 years

Cody Rhodes and Gunther are the best examples of guys who could NEVER be relevant if they aren’t involved in the title picture. They have to compete for title’s because otherwise they would be complete afterthoughts😂and the bookers know this

Cody Rhodes is getting boring as fuck again? Just turn a much bigger star than him heel or have him lose the belt and win it back right away. Gunther is boring as fuck his entire life? Just have him compete for a midcard belt and hold it for 3 years or a world title, or let him “retire” a legend. Roman Reigns feuded over a goofy ass necklace and it was more relevant than both of these jabrons have been for past couple of years LOL

They are SCARED to let Cody go without the belt for too long, they cant even put him in a storyline that doesn’t involve the belt because if you have Cody feud with someone like Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams, or Chad Gable, you’ll quickly realize he is on the same exact level of those guys, he’s right where he belongs😂the MIDCARD. If you are not relevant without a championship you suck ass period

Roman Reigns has entered the Bret Hart/John Cena tier of all-time stars

After seeing Raw last week I was thinking about where Roman Reigns fits historically.
To me, there’s a top tier that’s almost untouchable: Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and The Rock.
Then there’s that next level of all-time legends: Bret Hart, Ric Flair, John Cena… and I think Roman Reigns belongs there now.
Five or six years ago I would’ve laughed at that statement because I really wasn’t a fan of his character. But the Bloodline run completely changed my opinion. His aura, promos, storytelling, and ability to make matches feel important elevated him into that A/A- tier of wrestling history.
Do you think Roman belongs in that group, or do you still have him a tier below?

Don’t ever forget what this day means

it’s our freedom to wear gaudy shirts on ships and shopping malls and forever be picking the wedgie out of our one-size too small trunks.

Today, everyone in the United States is celebrating. 250 years ago, the country was formed on July 4th and we have continued to strive ahead. Lots of people will flock the beaches and boardwalks, while others rely on pools or nature.

Hulk Hogan

Heading to the ring, fans would hear “Real American” by Rick Derringer throughout the arenas. The first few lines from Hulk Hogan’s entrance music summed up America with: “I am a real American, Fight for the rights of every man, I am a real American, Fight for what’s right, Fight for your life!” All these years later and that song has become a staple in pro wrestling. The Hogan character was about eating your vitamins and saying prayers, while pumping some iron or body slamming a giant. There are lots of people who question if Hogan was even a good person. For now, we are just focused on how he represented America in a positive way. Find more https://yourprowrestlinghq.substack.com/p/four-wwe-wrestlers-that-represent

Wish this feud was developed way more back then

back a few years ago i went and binged all the weekly episodes of the WWF from the 80s, as it was an easy thing to have on the other monitor while i worked. Most of the stuff was kinda forgettable, but man did this storyline honestly shock me with how brilliant it was in concept to the point i was genuinely upset it just faded away like nothing mattered.

for those who don't know the details, "Hacksaw" Jim duggan is a mid-card patriot wrestler. Started his career in the hardcore scene where he genuinely used to bash people over with a plank of wood, but when he moved to the WWF mostly just acted as a doofus pro-america goofball. His feuds before this were very VERY mid-card

Then, during an Andre match that got out of hand and everyone was in the ring, Duggan ran in to help even the odds and ended up accidentally smacking Andre over the head with his 2x4 and knocked him out.

This was just after Andre's controversial "defeat" against Hogan just a month or so earlier, and before that andre was touted as "undefeated". sure, the Hogan loss was debatable. the ref didn't see his shoulder was up. and sure, this was a cheap shot with an illegal weapon. But all the technicalities were piling on and Andre's reputation as "unbeatable" was getting harder and harder to believe.

Meanwhile, Duggan, a joke midcarder had just knocked andre the freaking Giant on his back and left him unconcious. something no one had done before, even if it was an accident

Duggan would try to push this further, but Andre would try to ignore him. but after a second hit with the 2x4 it Andre was getting pushed by his own reputation to settle this once and for all

It was the perfect David vs Goliath match-up ever

and before you knew it, NOPE, Andre was back to feuding with Hogan and I don't even remember where Duggan's next feud was

This could have worked sooooo well as one of the better mid-card feuds of the 80s

wish we saw more of this fight
