Hi, So i’m looking for a perfected modlist for vanilla game upgrade type that will run smoothly on my ps5 some extra mod to spice things up won’t be a problem,

Does anyone know how to sneak in combat without constantly dodging.

I play with the elden beast mod but i dont know how to sneak in combat, because when i press rhe crouch button in combst i would dodge instead.

I want to use just the standalone Skyui instead of the Nordic ui (sky ui) mixed mod but when I tried to activate it, it says I’m missing another mod so I can’t activate it. Am I missing something or is the standalone just broken?

This was my first playthrough with mods, and throughout I experienced no issues making small adjustments to my load order. I had no idea your save could get corrupted from small changes, the straw that finally broke the camels back was a mod that gave dragons combat dialogue. I tried shrugging it off, but as I was walking through the Helgen caves on a fresh save I had to turn the game off for good. Now if you'll excuse me, im going to go mourn my beloved dragonborn who died peacefully in his home in whiterun while alduin devoured his world.

Okay, I've posted here for a while. I've tried making multiple playthroughs, with tens of different load orders, and every single time I get bored, and I think I know why: I love vanilla too much. Graphics overhauls, gameplay mechanics, perks, they all just don't click for me, but I really want to play with mods. So I'm coming to you people. What would be a few good mods for a vanilla plus playthrough? I'm thinking of using LushAMP, Real Roads, Dense Grass - Full and Trees in Cities to give the game a more "remastered" feel rather than an utter remake. What other mods would you recommend to enhance a vanilla experience?

Maybe I'm just spreading negativity and rehearsing old arguments, but to me it seems like paid mods are massively greedy and anti-community.

Pay 10 human, real life dollars to add clutter to minor towns? Pay 3 real life dollars just to have RP effects in your spell effect menu? Pay 5 human dollars for a worldspace that potentially clashes with other mods?

Maybe this just offends my feelings about the ethos of modding and the greedy cesspool of modern Bethesda, but these paid mods undeniably are way more expensive than they should be. Every single one of them should be $1 maximum, with anything that just edits values or adds effects being even less than that. No shade to the modders themselves (since they don't set the pricing), but damn man. Horse armor was the beginning of the end.

What are all your thoughts on this? If this is outside the bounds of what this sub is or too negative for a post here, my bad.

Now the feedback/ discussion part:

I personally don’t like being a moderator on Reddit. I don’t moderate any other subs. I just wanted to have a community where people could talk about modding on PlayStation as there really wasn’t one out there on Reddit and I’d get crickets when asking about PlayStation on the main modding sub.

I assumed since this is a Skyrim sub it would be light work. How much mud can you sling when talking about Skyrim…right? Was hoping this could be more of a free space to have conversation about a non-controversial topic. But this is reddit so here I am making a post about it.

That being said, as we approach 5000 members, it might be a good time to get some feedback.

Are there additional rules you think aren’t covered by the existing ones that should be added?

Do you think I should turn on more bot moderation? I would rather not as I hate the way it frequently deletes benign comments when I see it in other subs.

Seriously, are there ANY mods on PS that let me craft just fur armor? I don't want to be able to craft uniques, I don't want to craft faction armor, I don't want the fur armor to have sixty base armor rating, I just want to be able to craft. Some. Fucking. Furs. That's it. Is that too much to ask for?
