when will they give results for the psg in mtech msc program 2026 . no announcement yet . will they cook us like snu with no rejection email or give us rejection email if we get rejected

Does anyone have anything to say about this? Or give their experiences? I had the entrance exam on june 3 and attended my interview on june 4, 1:30 batch. I am bored and I seriously wanna talk to someone about this haha 😭 If anyone wants ask something then I am ready to answer with a little "extra information" that I gathered about this.

Hello my cutoff is 187 can someone clear like the diff between itech and tech and which is better between those 2

so i am a little confused as to select which msc course in psg tech... i saw that there is a new course computational finance this year and would like to know about it.. and also about software systems and data science..anyone studying those kindly give an idea about it like what would u say to someone who is looking to choose ss or ds

How are you all preparing for the exam ?

​I'm trying to decide between CSE and ECE at PSG iTech and would love some real, unfiltered advice.

​ECE Quality: How are the faculty and labs? Is the workload too stressful to handle?

​Placements: Do many students actually get into core electronics companies (Qualcomm, TI, etc.), or do most end up shifting to IT/software jobs?

​The Choice: If I want to keep my options open for both software and hardware, is it easy for an ECE student to maintain a good CGPA while coding on the side?

​Would you choose CSE or ECE here? Any insights on the campus culture and placements would be a huge help. Thanks!

So this started as a random thought — I was swamped with assignments, my room needed cleaning, and I had a parcel to pick up.

Three different problems, zero time.

And I kept thinking: there are people around me with free time who would happily take ₹100–300 to do exactly this.

Why is there no easy way to connect?

Like... what if someone could post "I need someone to walk my dog for an hour" or "stand in this TNEB queue for me" or "help me set up my laptop's OS" — and someone nearby who actually has time just picks it up and gets paid?

Not Swiggy. Not Urban Company. Just... people helping people, for tasks those apps would never touch.

Think about it — how many times have you thought "I'd literally pay someone to do this right now"?

- Submitting a record on your behalf to college office

- Dropping a surprise gift to someone

- Drawing a quick sketch for a presentation

- Helping tow a bike after a breakdown

- Picking up second-hand books

- Even just guiding a relative visiting Chennai for the first time

I've been building something around this idea — a simple app where anyone can post any task (legal, obviously 😅) and people nearby can pick it up and earn on their own time.

No fixed shifts. No category restrictions. No interview. If you have 2 free hours, you could be earning.

Not launching a startup pitch here — genuinely curious: would you use something like this? Either to post tasks or take them?

Also open to feedback on what tasks people here actually struggle with — might help shape what this looks like for students specifically.

I have been shortlisted for the PSG Tech Integrated M.Sc. entrance exam for the 2026 admission cycle. I'm trying to understand the exam pattern, difficulty level, syllabus, and interview process .

If any current students or alumni from the Integrated M.Sc. programs (Software Systems, Data Science, Cyber Security, Theoretical Computer Science, etc.) are here, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your experience. Some questions I have:

• What topics were asked in the entrance exam?

• Was it mostly Maths, or were Physics/Aptitude questions included as well?

• How difficult was the exam compared to 12th standard board exams?

• Any preparation tips or resources you would recommend?

• How has your experience been in the program overall?
