Kwannon's story is an excellent reminder of just what all makes The Hand such formidable foes. On top of being formidable martial artists, trained in ninja arts, many have magical and even mutant abilities. One such magical ability they are known best for is that they can bring people back to life, like Elektra in Charlie Cox's original Daredevil series, an ability that also remains central to Kwannon's narrative arc as Psylocke.

The Hand has obvious ties to Iron Fist, Daredevil, Elektra, Colleen Wing, and now Spider-Man following Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but the organization has many connections to big-name characters and mutants we simply haven't had told in the MCU yet: Lady Bullseye, Angela Del Toro (White Tiger), Kwannon (Psylocke), Omega Red, Mystique, Lady Deathstrike, Silver Samurai, and even Tombstone all work as members of The Hand in one way or another as well.

While Psylocke doesn't have any immediate connections to Luke Cage, Jessica Jones fans might be some of the first to realize that there is a rather interesting (if not, trauma-inducing) fact about Psylocke herself that's sure to recall her time with Killgrave. Not only is Psylocke a psychic whose powers affect people's memories and minds, but her Psyblades glow a purple that's sure to give Jessica Jones a panic attack, particularly if Kwannon ever used them to scramble Luke's mind.

OCDmarvelsketchcards is a huge fan (and ambassador) of Marvel sketch cards, with a lot of knowledge on the characters and artists. He has a Whatnot channel and I try to go whenever I see that he is on. This is a sketch card from his collection that I won.
