Foo Fighters Show in DC had a WEAK crowd
Iâve been a massive QotSA fan for 4 or 5 years now and finally got to the opportunity to see them in DC opening for Foo Fighters. I couldnât afford floor or anything close to it so I was up on the second risers and looking down at the floor, that crowd was lame as HELL man. I could see maybe 5 people moving. MAYBE one person pumping their fist in the air. No energy, no dancing, no moshing, the pit was just completely dead.
Not to mention the awful sound mixing for specifically their set, it just sounded like a wall of muffled mess for those of us up in the stands. The venue did them dirty.
And I thought maybe it was just people who didnât know them and only came for Foo Fighters (which is kinda valid I guess but also makes no sense to me) but the crowd was bad for Foo Fighters too!! Whatâs up with people paying HUNDREDS to go into the pit or get to barricade and just stand still. It was disappointing, I felt bad for them. Getting people to sing along with Make It Wit Chu should NOT have been that hard.
I still had an amazing time and I was shouting from the stands but it was sad to see such a poor response when either band was out there.
Has it been like this at the other shows as well?
