What's your thoughts ? I am myself a tradesperson who drives a van daily. I would love an ecargo bike for the kids and occasional jobs where it's feasible, but can't currently afford it. These AI pictures though are supposed to be taking the piss out of the idea but I think they're actually demonstrating a point that if the bikes are strong enough and the motor is powerful enough they could move a lot more. The other issue in the UK is being limited to 15 mph, if they could be assisted to 25mph going the distance is really feasible.

I should add, if this is the desire of the government then maybe we will see improved infrastructure to enable people to actually to do this. unless your in a city in the UK you are often in a poorly connected rural town or village with roads to dangerous to ride on!

edit 2, people don't appear to actually have read what I have said. I am in support of not driving. the issue with the proposed government "incentives" (which are increased costs) this doesn't just affect those in London or other major city's (where most people think the world revolves) but to all small businesses across the country who live in rural towns, which is basically all small towns, which makes up most of the countries coverage. I am not strawmanning as people keep telling me, I am speaking of my own experience and a situation which I know I share with millions of others. Give us the incentive of not dieing on the roads rather than just squeezing us even tighter.
