I've had this medal given to me by a pub holder in my hometown in the french alps.
He offered a few drinks to a broken Russian athlete competing in the Albertville 1992 Olympics, who in exchange gave him this medal.
From the story I've been told, the dude passed out and had to sleep in the pub overnight.
I have no further information such as his name, the kind of sport he was doing, or else ...
