I stopped paying the Tithe today

Just bought the Lords of the Maelstrom box, and Masters of the Maelstrom box after years of being a good loyal Guardsman.

I want to do a more Renegade look over spikey chaos, and was thinking of getting the tactical squad box to mix and match armor. Any recommendations for other kits to steal from? Maybe the space wolves for the wild rugged look?

Along those lines what's a good Chosen proxy? I see they're really good rules wise, but I'm not a fan of the models. I was thinking of using the Raiders as Chosen but was concerned about people getting confused.

Terminators Kitbash

Very simply compared to my others, it was a nice refresher to be satisfied with simple models for once instead of taking apart the same mini over and over because it didn’t look right IM LOOKING AT YOU RAIDERS (The new raider kit has been a nightmare for me, such a cool kit, and everything I try to do looks out of place 😂)

But here they are, my terminators for my comically pirate warband!

Not too sold on the railings and “sail” on the champion but itll do for now

30k legionaries as proxies for Chaos units + CSM faction advice

Howdy people,

I’ve just kicked off a Red Corsairs army with the Battleforce box and a Maulerfiend, and am looking to expand to a 1500-2000pt list.

I’ve never played CSM before, so was looking for advice on which detachments are best suited for the Corsairs, as well as whether 30K legionary units can stand in for things like Chaos Legionaries , Havocs, Raptors, etc, or are they scaled smaller than the modern 40K kits?

any and all advice is appreciated!
