I have ableton live light and I’m a fan but I honestly only like it for a couple of the options it gives you, I was just wondering if any of you have played a live set with renoise and or if you enjoy it or how you go about it.

So to be clear I am on Ardour using Redux but am not using Renoise as DAW (lovely DAW though btw).

I am working with creating drum kits and all is good except for individual processing of the samples regarding the filters. It would appear that you cant individually filter samples in your drum kit and can only filter them via the Master FX chain. Am I missing something or do I need to go in and individually set filter levels, re sample and then add them to the rack? It seems pretty backwards to have to work that way so I a hoping I am just missing things.

I'm trying to transition into living without a computer because I have no self control and I keep wasting time on it. I understand that the M8 and the Polyend Tracker Are the main devices in this market . Which one would you say is closest to our beloved favorite DAW?
I am trying to remix a friend song into a jungle tune. But his music(math rock) keeps on changing the time signature through the song. Is there a way for me to do this on the tracker?
Or is it better if I chop everything to a 4/4?

Just started using Renoise this week, trying to learn how to use FX & it’s greyed out with no color & not doing anything.
What do I need to do to activate these FX?
