The Mission

The Retributors chapter of Angels of Death need air superiority. First step: destroy the Necron anti-air systems plaguing the city. Six Marines go in. No backup.
-1 Intercessor Sgt
w/Power Sword and Stalker Bolt Rifle
-1 Eliminator Sniper
-2 Intercessor Warriors
w/Stalker Bolt Rifle and Bolt Rifle
-2 Intercessor Assault Warriors

The Enemy Setup
One Necron heavy marksman. Ten warrior marksmen split into two ranges—five at distance with long rifles, five close with short ones. Three scarabs. All of them waiting.

Turning Point 1
Clean contact. One Necron warrior down. One scarab down. Marines advance with no casualties.

Turning Point 2
Both bombs planted on the relay systems. But the scarabs hit hard. Two assault Marines take wounds. Three more Necron warriors fall. The elite goes down. All three scarabs eliminated. Marines smoke the objectives and hold.

Turning Point 3
Four of six Marines are injured now. Necrons disarm both bombs but there’s no stopping it. Marines plant a third on one relay. Three Necrons left.

Turning Point 4
Eliminator takes one. Stalker sergeant takes two more. No Necrons remain. Both relays destroyed.
