Retributors Space Marine Veteran

This one was an "experiment" really, but it turned out pretty well in my opinion!

Hey all, I'm currently painting a space marine hero, and wondered if anyone could give me some methods on what paints would work well, to achieve a similar look (above photos), particularly darker, but lighter variants as well?

Seems there are plenty of vids/recipes on how to paint white and various shades of red regalia, but struggling to find much on the natural colour!

Finally managed to photograph my collection so far, evidently, details still need painting, and need to start adding colour to the second Land Raider pictured, though the majority is complete, not perfect by any means, but overall, I'm very satisfied.

Photography is not one of my virtues! they look better in person imo (more accurate colour rendition/can see edge highlights better etc), so apologies for the crap quality/blurred pics, I didn't notice until I started sorting through them!

I have noticed that (generally), subdued colour schemes for space marines, don't seem to be that popular (I can understand, as they are not as eye-catching visually, as brighter schemes), but glad I personally went with a subdued/gritty look!
