Which actor do you think gives the best performance across all seasons?

Personally I think it’s Lili Reinhart, she really becomes Betty and perfectly shows the drastic changes Betty goes through in each season beautifully

Who gave the best / your favorite acting performance in Freaks and Geeks?

Vote here: https://strawpoll.com/poy9kKEa8gJ

Unfortunately the polls on reddit allow only six choices, so I made a strawpoll with all the performances. Enjoy and discuss : )

I just wanted to say how amazing of an actress Lili Reinhart is.

Her emotion is so genuine and I just can’t get over how believable her acting is. She also portrays a teenager so well compared to lots of other adults.

How Many Sharks Can One Show Jump?

Halfway through season 6 and this has got to be the absolute best worst show of all time. I can't stop laughing.

These writers must have had an endless supply of psychodelic drugs on hand in the writing room.

Actual Wrtier Hiring:
WB: "Do you have experience?"

Applicant: "Yes, I have years of experience."

WB: "Great, you're hired."

Applicant: "Thank you, I really need this job. Now, where is the janitors closet?"

WB: "Wait, youre a janitor? Well, we need a writer for the show and even though, as a janitor, you are extremely OVER qualified to be a writer for us, we hope you will still take the writing position."

Watching S7 for the first time

It’s been awhile since I watched any riverdale and I personally wasn’t a fan of S6 which is partly what took me so long to even watch S7. S7 isn’t bad, this Dr werthers is irritating and obviously the main person making everyone’s life harder

Thinking of doing a BG3 run as the core four, what classes would they be?

I'm thinking of doing a full run of BG3 while roleplaying as the core four, might even make a video series of it. I'm curious what classes you guys think each of them would be? I don't want to go just as their G&G 'classes' but rather as something reflective of them as a whole throughout the series.

Archie is a Paladin for sure. Probably Oath of Devotion.

Judghead I'm thinking a Bard as he is first and foremost a storyteller/writer. Not sure, maybe school of Lore?

Betty- I have nothing here. Ranger or druid maybe? Wizard because she's intelligent and bookish? Please help. Edit: I might make her the Dark Urge to give her the serial killer gene.

Veronica is probably a sorceress? I don't know? Something Charisma based?

I'd love to hear what you guys think, plus maybe some of the other cast members. Cheryl is absolutely a warlock or sorceress and Reggie is 100% a fighter.

Breaking Bad’s surprising similarities to Riverdale

Hello, I have been a fan of both shows for quite a while (being a 36 Y.O TV Lover!) and I noticed a lot of strange connections as I’m rewatching breaking bad. Seeing a story of our protagonist go from a stand up, almost noble character, to one that blurs the lines between right and wrong. You can see the people around them react very similarly, Betty and Veronica (but let’s be honest mostly Betty) showed a lot of the same fears that Skylar showed towards Walter white. I just found it very interesting to see two shows that I absolutely adore share more in common than most viewers, I would love to hear any other connections fans of both shows noticed between the two.

Vale la pena ver Riverdale?

Nunca me vi la serie Riverdale y vi que estaba en Netflix, vale la pena verla? Son siete temporadas y en promedio 20 capitulos por temporada, por lo que si quisiera escuchar opiniones al respecto.

Any Fellow Fans with Disabilities???

Hey I just started rewatching watching the show for the first time in seven years on Netflix, I’m already at the beginning of season 2 and I’m starting to remember why fell in love with this show and these characters in the first place. When I was six weeks old, I was paralyzed from the neck down due to medical negligence and when I was two, I started using a motorized wheelchair to get around. Thanks to years of physical therapy, I have very little movement in my arms, hands, and fingers. I can’t grab or pick up certain objects unless they’re small and easy like a pencil or a penny and obviously, I’m able to type. I’m Latina and I love that they cast a Latina actress to play Veronica even though in the comics, she was always portrayed as a white girl. I’m twenty-eight now and I don’t care what anyone says about this show. No matter how weird or wild it got in later seasons, I was here for it, I just never watched the final season because I just never got around to it but that’s one of the reasons why I’m rewatching the show in the first place. I was hoping I could connect with fellow Riverdale fans with either physical or mental disabilities who love this show as much as I do. This show along with many others has inspired me to pursue an acting career. Also, have y’all ever met KJ, Lili, Camila, and/or Madelaine? If so, what were they like, I mean, obviously they were nice, but what was it like actually seeing them on person and talking to them

The best musical episode

Idk if my other post is awaiting approval or what so I'm going to try again.

I think that season 7 episode 14 is the best ever musical episode Riverdale did. The Music, harmonies, voices and lyrics are so freaking good. I wish Cole sang more in that episode tho bc his voice is so beautiful.

But season 6 episode 22 has debatably the best overall song Riverdale ever did "The End of the World"

My two cents on Riverdale

I think Riverdale seasons 1-5 should have been condensed into just one or two seasons. Keeping the characters in high school for that long made the repetitive murder mysteries and gang plots drag out.

The show should have shifted to that crazy Season 6 supernatural tone much sooner, because embracing the campy, comic-book magic actually made it fun and unpredictable.

The Season 7 1950s reboot idea was a brilliant concept that should have happened way earlier, giving the writers a fresh sandbox before viewers got tired of the original timeline.

What do you think?

Rewatching

Am I the only one who feels like Kevin's commitment issues came outta no where like from a writing standpoint and broke up him and fangs for no reason

Hot take

Jughead is the only interesting person in the whole show Archie Veronica and Betty all feel very boring but jughead actually drives the plot forward he narrates he tries to see every part of riverdale while the other characters stay in their boring little bubble with their boring life but jughead is a depressed nihilistic teenager who’s dealing with family issues and writes books about the town he’s whole story is way more interesting then anyone else I mean he’s the only reason I watch the show
