Just finished NewGirl for the first time great show! Questions about the finale?

One of the final scenes Nick's on the ground applying some creme to his foot? Looks like he has a bunch of cremes on the ground? I admit I was pretty drunk last night while we watched this. What was the meaning/point of this? Or was it just a joke that went over my head?
Also Nick then says we have one final thing to do before we move out and he says: "JFK and the rest say FDR" what was the meaning of this? Did I totally miss something here as well?

Nick is significantly LEANER in Season 6?
Watching New Girl for the first time and just started Season 6 and Nick is significantly LEANER. The storyline was he was with Reagan in New Orleans but they never addressed why he's now in such great shape? Or do they at all as the season goes on?
Did the actor like hire a trainer and got completely healthy during hiatus or something?
How many strikes do you give a new potential client before you strike them off your leads list?
If you have a warm solid lead come in and you've educated them fully on what you can do for them and even had several long form conversations/meetings with them yet they never let you close them or worse go with your competitor, how many strikes do you give them until they are completely crossed off your leads list and you no longer even consider them a lead?
I've had warm leads come in where I've taken them out to dinner 3 times and they still don't close and worse go with a competitor(behind our backs). I find it absolutely ridiculous that one would even allow you to take them out to dinner 3 times and still never close and go with your competitors. This was my first few years into sales where I was more desperate.
As time goes on and we become seasoned veterans I'll take a client out for lunch or happy hour primarily these days because lunch and happy hour are usually easier to do, cheaper and a more fun setting. If we really hit it off and theres some potential there or we didn't even get really get to any business I'll take them out a second time to lunch/happy hour.
The most I'll go is 2 lunches or Happy Hours and if they aren't showing and solid promise of any business developing on the second meeting or they give me the run around then that is it. I'll not even entertain a third meeting because if they were not willing to even discuss business by the second meeting then this is obviously a red flag for sure.
Do you have a similar guideline or methods you use where you ultimately have to put your foot down and pull the plug if you feel they are just wasting your time?
My problem is I'm rather likable and lot of people just want to hang out and be my friend, which is fine of course but when it comes to work/business we have to draw the line especially when it comes to writing off expensive meals and expensive entertainment events etc. especially when accounting needs to see definitive results and business being developed from these.
Finally had a long awaited meeting with an Executive and he got way too drunk and sabotaged the meeting.
I met an executive of a BIG conglomerate that I've been trying to close for 6 years now. We hit it off great on a separate business trip and became good friends, emailing, texting each other through out the years. We pretty much became good friends in real life to the point where I even forgot he was an executive for this huge conglomerate.
So he recently brought up that he wanted to help me close a deal with his bosses and I was like hell yea. I was heading to his state he lives on the other side of the country so whenever I'm in his neck of the woods I always text him but he's always slammed with work to hang out.
So this time he said no matter what he's setting up a meeting for us to discuss business and land his company with a deal for me. So I said thanks bro whatever you wanna do lets grab dinner on me and I said feel free to bring your friends too.
He then says to meet at Hooters they ran a tab of $200 there I had a few more shots with them and close out and throw it on my business credit card (to write off for later). He then takes me to another Hooters type of place that serves steak and crab legs. I was like alright I got dinner but thats about it I probably have to cut out after dinner as I had a pretty early flight the next day(which was the truth). He's already pretty drunk to the point where he's mumbling and not making much sense.
We go to the fake hooters steakhouse and the bills another $250 I throw it on my card(again to write off later). Then he wants to keep ordering shots and I see he's way too drunk so I told him sorry I'm tapping out I have an early flight tomorrow (which was the truth). He then drinks another handful of drinks and shots and really doesn't make any sense at all. I realized this meeting was not going to be productive at all since he's way too drunk.
He also made me über a hour away from my hotel to come meet him closer to his house promising to drive me back to my hotel or at least pay for my uber. He then mumbles something and then disappears and leaves me and his group of friends at the fake hooters spot. So all 3 of us are stuck at this place as he clearly snuck out to his car to go god knows where?
His 3 other friends all apologize on his behalf saying that he's going through a bad divorce and dark times and thats why he's behaving so oddly.
He's never showed me this side of him ever. Every time I ever hung out with him or talked to him on the phone he's always been super professional, smart, sharp and just a real chill likable guy. The version of him who showed up that day was totally different from what I ever knew of him.
So yeah thats about $450 worth on my credit card for this meeting that never even materialized into a meeting pretty much because my friend(the executive) got way too drunk and became belligerent and his own friends called him "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide"
His friends felt bad so they even offered to set up some potential business with their own companies and they said don't worry we'll confront him about all of this and his behavior today next week as they all have a tee time at their country club.
His friends said to wait until August as they are on business trips until August and wanted me to follow up with them in regards with doing business with their companies.
But my friend/the exec never apologized or even text me ever since this night which was now a month ago.
What would you do if you were in my shoes? Should I reach out to the friend/exec and be like what the hell happened??? Or How would you handle this situation?

I hope TRAN was paid well for his role his bit was hilarious!
Nick keeps randomly going back to sit with TRAN and open up and spill his guts to him and TRAN just looks back at Nick usually not saying anything at all. This bit was hilarious to me, because TRANS face is so damn funny. Like I can't describe it he's like so disinterested in what Nicks even saying to him.
I remember when TRAN takes Nick to some sketch water massage and some lady is playing some flute in the background. As funny as that was it's even more funny that he just sits there not saying anything back to Nick and his face looks like he's either not interested or he's about to start cracking up!
I'm only on season 3 but I hope TRAN keeps coming back throughout the show and it would have been epic if they give TRAN a proper closure as well.
PRINCE episode was so damn good RIP!
I love that they showed how it would be if average joes got invited into Prince's house party. Clayton Kershaw who was a huge LA Dodgers star made a cameo and no one cared lol.
I liked the Fire and Ice scam that Winston and Coach pulled off to get inside.
The whole time Prince is one on one with Jess I kept thinking he was gonna do something METOO ish with her especially when he locked her up and had her change and alone in the dark, but then realized this is a NewGirl episode so none of that would go down.
I heard Prince wanted to make sure the episode was not overly sexual and he even removed a few of the Kardashian sisters from even appearing in it since he said no reality show stars would be at his house parties!
Friend is engaged for the 5th time all the 4 previous wives were big toxic nightmares who took him to the cleaners.
First wife was probably the worst she took most of his inheritance as he's a trust fund baby. He asked me for advice and I said shes got a ton of red flags so maybe you shouldn't marry her. He called me several times asking what to do, he didn't listen so he married her and she cheated on him the entire time and divorced and took most of his money.
2nd wife he kept a secret from me. She was big druggie, and actually over dosed before I even knew they were together or got married.
3rd wife another psycho who burned down their house in anger and he had to get a restraining order. Same as wife 2 he never even told me about her.
4th wife a combo of wife 2 and 3, again he didn't even tell me about her and went MIA as she wouldn't let him have a cell phone or respond to phone calls/texts or even emails.
5th Wife TO BE seems like pretty much all that was wrong with the first 4 wives. She did allow him to hang out with us ONE TIME since they got together and got all pissed because he came home 45min late which was only like 10:30PM. It's not like he came home at like 3am or something. She's already making him sell his house and business to move 6 states over to live with her in her small condo. Her work makes her travel to California, NYC a lot but she doesn't even live in either state.
She seems like shes out to clean him out like the previous 4 wives and also what I don't get is why he has to always get married. It's like he doesn't know you can date someone or just be in a relationship with someone without actually marrying them and giving away most of your wealth each time they divorce you shortly after?
What would you do if you were in my shoes when he asks about the 5th wife to be?

They had hit songs such as After The Summers Gone, and Can I Call You My Girl?
Their manager was 80's teen pop queen Tiffany. They had a sound like young Joey from NKOTB singing. I think they consisted of 4 young teenage kids 3 boys and 1 girl??
The reason I ask is I never heard of them and I know all kinds of pop music from the 80's and 90's but never heard of them, but in the early 2000's I was dating this Hawaiian chick and she brought them up to me and I thought she was making up some BS fictional group that never existed. This was before YouTube so we couldn't simply YouTube them or even google them as the search engines back then were very slow and primitive.
I grew up in Chicago and again they NEVER played PC Quest in Chicago so I'm assuming they were big in Hawaii for some reason since she grew up there and was a big fan of theirs?
If you remember them? Can you also list where you grew up as I'm assuming again they were played only in certain markets/cities in the USA? Because again they definitely did not play them on the radio in Chicago.

For those of you who are DiamondPlus how long did it take from Diamond to achieve it for you?
I live in LA so as many of you know RCCL was missing from LA for like over a decade so because of that I climbed Princess and NCL pretty fast as RCCL was not sailing out of LA for most of my adult life.
I just recently achieved Diamond and thats pretty much by doing a solo Panama canal and few solo suite cruises. But I'm now gunning for Diamond Plus as I want the more free drink tickets, free laundry and guaranteed Crown lounge access etc.
So as you know its another 95 points from Diamond to Diamond Plus and again I usually sail SOLO because I'm a huge diva even when I'm sailing with a group of friends and family lol. I think if I do 2 solo cruises a year and a solo Panama Canal again I can probably achieve Diamond Plus by like 3 years.
Whats the best site to hire decent/quality spokesmodels for our events and content?
We utilized ModelMayhem and Craigslist back in the day and landed some amazing Spokesmodels who did all of our trade shows and content creation but these models are now retired from modeling and so we tried to go back on MM and CL and wow its no longer the same.

Just watched the LukePerry death/homage episode of Riverdale.
I started Riverdale not too long ago and many of you know Luke Perry plays the dad of the main character on the show. He's basically like a blue collar hard working stand up guy and pretty much the only NORMAL likeable parent on the show as all the parents are pretty toxic and F'd up on that show talking literally murderers, cult leaders/members, mobsters etc LOL.
Apparently Luke dies in real life towards the end of filming season 3 of Riverdale and because their season 3 is so bananas they didn't properly address his death on the show until season 4 episode 1.
It's a great homage to Luke and the whole town honors him and gave him mad love and props and again he was like the only normal/likable parent on the show and maybe character over all.
One final 90210 cherry on the top was Shannon Doherty (RIP) also appears in this episode and they had an amazing idea for incorporating her as well which gave 90210 all kinds of epic love! I won't spoil that but yes she's incredible as her role on this episode!

We are willing to drive anywhere in the Chicago burbs to see them at night preferably in a nice safe suburb.
One of our group has never seen them before and shes visited Chicago 3 times. The rest of our group has never been to Chicago any never saw them as most of us are from California where there are none.
A friend suggested Bussee Woods. Does this seem like a great idea to try to see them? What time do they usually show up is it like soon as the sun goes down?
How come no one ever talks about CoreyInTheHouse or RavensHome only ThatsSoRaven?
Is it because the other shows are lesser spinoffs than the OG? Did the big fanbase stop watching the other shows?
We've been watching TSR for the first time ever since theres so much hype and it's so beloved. We see why it's so loved even after all this time. I think we are just about to finish it as we are on the final season and just watched the episode where Eddie's divorced parents are played by Raven's old Cosby Show casemates.
It looks like the final episode is Raven catching Corey smoking or something like that? So this show never got a proper finale/ending then?
