Warning- Counterfeit Tonecheer Kits

Tonecheer wanted me to reach out to the community and warn you guys of a surge in sites selling counterfeit versions of their kits (or just straight up scamming and stealing your money)

These are all sites "selling" unauthorized versions of their kits....for example thygarmen has "sold" 4000 units of their new Howl's Moving Castle kit without purchasing a single one from Tonecheer. So buyer beware from any of these sites.

Its almost always better to buy direct from the manufacturer.

Also, we are looking to do an event with Tonecheer with this kit so if you are interested, and can wait a bit, it'll be cheaper soon

Help!!!

Only place i know to ask for help on a 3d puzzle. Has anyone ever done a 3d wooden clock??? I cant get the second hand on😭 ive tried n tried but it just wont go on. Ive pushed, pushed n twisted is there a trick to getting this sucker on??? The hour hand was kinda hard but I cannot get the second hand on

Struggling with typewriter

I am struggling with the typewriter and I wonder if anyone has done it and has some advice.

In particular I got to page 56, where some tests for the mechanisms are shown. One should press the keys, and the tape should me moving up and down and left to right. Mine moves up and down, but not left to right. The mechanism that rotates the tape doesn't trigger.

I have unbuilt the whole thing and tracked the movement mechanism, trying to identify which particular piece is not transferring the movement from the keystroke to the tape.

I found the location that my mechanism doesn't trigger. In particular the big plastic wheel of P43-C1. on page 38, I can see that I put it the right way, but this week is not rotating when the keys are pressed. While investigating, I can see that if I apply a minor amount of pressure to the wheel in the rotation direction, then it behaves as expected, it moves a notch for every keypress. However, I see nothing that would apply this pressure to the wheel in the instructions, and thus when I build everything, keypresses don't really move the wheel at all without my finger slightly touching it. This means the tape doesn't move and they keyboard would not work.

I'm not sure if I am missing anything? I've been reading the instructions over and over and I can't find my mistake. ​
