The scene of this book nook is a stellar observatory in a Gothic castle.

their new slogan miniature architecture stories writ large is very appropriate here as this kit is yet another shining example of how MiniCity excels with architectural design.

the celestial motif along with the Striking visuals of the turret are only outshined ( pun intended) by the mechanical gear work of the 24-hour clock which is the feature of the inner and outer right face of the build. now, mini City kits are not previously known for their movement... so I Am interested to see how this comes out in the final build.

Unsurprisingly ... another beautiful offering from this manufacturer and I appreciate their subtle use of different LED colors in the same Spectrum

This book nook set In the Philippines is a blend of the Cities Manila and D’Mall Boracay. so while it isn't a perfect replication of one specific location in the Philippines it brings in different elements of two of the more popular destinations.

This time we are building “Magic Platform” by Tonecheer

This is Tonecheer’s whimsical take on Platform 9 and 3/4 which is a common theme in Book Nooks

Part 1 of this series covers steps 1-4 and shows setting up for the build as well as building the main train engine.

Part 2 covers steps 5-7 has us building a bench and waiting platform, the turret on the top of the tower, and the caboose

Part 3 covers steps 8-15 and has us building the main structure of the station itself.

This book nook set on the street of Bangkok’s China Town presents an interesting situation which may have you scratching your head saying…ive seen this before.
Not only is Bangkok Yaowarat based on a real location, but the companies Viendor (Book Nook Global) and Anavrin share a history. There is a previously released kit by the same name that Anavrin sells which shares a lot in common with this kit.

The reason this is cool situation is that now we have the opportunity to look at these kits side by side and really see what in the design is Anavrin and what is Viendor bringing to the market space. For example, the awesome ornate roofs in this version.

Guys girls and Book Nook Pals:

Just a quick one today... a review of MiniCity’s Notre Dame Basilica de Montreal, one of their new cathedral, mini nooks, and a bonus review of the Kahuku markers by Ohuhu

Having completed the entire mini City throne series… I was not surprised to really enjoy this little kit. The stained glass doors in the front with their own little lock to the vibrant acrylic pieces that formed the focus of a snook. It was a quick and playable build. I also really enjoyed how they do the vaulted ceilings. They’ve gotten very good at it.

I understand why the cell is a Tupac because this doesn’t really take long to build. There is an a ton you can do with it, but it really is strikingly beautiful and the outside is nice to display as well.

As for the markers… They were outstanding!
Not only do they go on smooth and Opaque with a single coat… But They blend Surprisingly well and dry fast, which makes pieces easier to handle so you’re not waiting for things to dry

If you’re looking for something smaller or quicker or if you just like the subject matter, the kit is a recommend but regardless of what you’re building the markers are a home run

What’s up guys gals and book nook pals… Today we’re taking a look at the theater dressing room from FiFi Joy

Sometimes you want a book nook that’s a blank canvas
like silent corner study ripe for customization.

And then sometimes you want a kit like this… a veritable explosion of details and elements packing every square millimeter of the book nook with visual elements.

As per usual, Fifijoy gives us a unique themed book nook… this time the dressing rooms of two actors at a theater with what seems to be a very diverse repertoire.

Trying something new with their LED set up, Fifijoy is pushing the envelope there is a built-in control switch and USB A plug offering multiple color modes and brightness levels. And making significant improvements with how they labeled their LEDs

While there are a few novel 3-D elements as well as some neat tool inclusions…2D I objects are the stars of the show here, and there are many stars in the sky.

I’m sure the book nook community has its fair share of theatre kids… this kit is for you

Today we’re taking a look at the Haunted Candy House by Rolife.

Its an adorable "spooky" Halloween Confectionary Store front built out of a converted witch's hat.

This mini house fits perfectly with Rolife’s Style, and especially their holiday line, by incorporating a lot ton of mini 3D elements, paper craft, and some new types of pieces (see the roof) that ive yet to see.

If you’re a fan of whimsy or you you're looking for something a little more Involved (object wise, not overall construction wise)… This is a great option to get lost in the process.
