Fellow Roxborough residents and eaters, you are hopefully aware of the halal cart drama at Leverington & Ridge. Arbaz & Sohail are getting worn down over this interloper taking their spot of 8 years and it couldn't be happening to people who deserve it less.

They are showing up at the police station across from Wawa at Ridge & Cinnaminson to talk it through tomorrow at 11:00 - Friday October 2. I don't know what can actually be done but those guys work hard and have made me countless cheap delicious meals so I intend to find out. I'll be there to vouch and stand alongside. Join us!

I’ve been in the Roxy area for about 3 years now and i’ve always ventured to the city or northeast/bucks county for a change or to get out of the house.

Is there anything exciting going on this weekend in the neighborhood that I’m unaware of? Willing to give it a shot and meet locals.

Also if there’s a page or link to keep an eye on for future events would be helpful.

I just got a call that was certainly from a scammer, I signed up for some raffle at the manayunk arts festival and this call mentioned that raffle telling me I won a stay at some resort. I’m 90% sure the entire call was AI and they ultimately wanted me to make a $100 deposit for the stay (???). Are these raffles just to collect data to sell to scammers or was it compromised or something?
