We’re putting together the braking setup for our race Mustang S550, and it’s starting to look pretty serious.
This setup was designed and built in-house from scratch. The goal was simple: make it clean, solid, and reliable under hard use.
Still a few details left to finish, but this part of the build is definitely moving in the right direction.
Hey everyone. I have a weird one that I can’t seem to figure out. 3 days ago my volume knob reversed. Turn right and the sound goes down. Buttons in the steering wheel work correctly. I did a master reset on the Sync 3. It didn’t make a difference. I then unplugged the battery for 30 minutes and that did nothing. Any suggestions or have something similar happen?

Im planning on buying a 18+ ported manifold with imrc lockouts and 47lb ford performance fuel injectors and a bigger throttle body and other things of course but i need helping picking what to do before i buy what i have saved for the car
I recently purchased a 2021 mustang gt premium, and a few days later it’s taking a bit longer to crank than I would expect. Probably a full 2 seconds to turn over after hitting the button. This happens specifically if the car has sat overnight, no sluggishness after starting, and once started if I turn it off and back on it starts right away. Cranking sounds fine so I don’t suspect battery or starter.
I scanned the car and the only relevant code was a P008a archived code, and after clearing codes and driving for a few days no codes have come back up.
Based on the research I’ve done, I expect that my fuel lines are losing prime, because if I prime the fuel pump a few times before cranking the car, it starts just fine. Im wondering if this is a common issue with a known fix, I know the low pressure fuel sensor was a problem with the ecoboost models but there are no recalls for my gt when I look up the vin.
Everything I’m reading points to the fuel pump itself, but I’ve heard the sensor could also cause this problem, so unless it’s guaranteed that it’s the fuel pump, I’m leaning toward replacing the sensor just in case.
If I do need to go the fuel pump route, I’m a bit confused with the part nomenclature regarding “pump aseembly” “sending unit” etc. I’m guessing I need the $500 motocraft full assembly if I were to go oem? If I don’t need the entire assembly is there a cheaper way I can go? Because if I’m paying that much for an oem full assembly wouldn’t it be prudent to just throw a dw400 on it?

Are those worn out buttons fixable without replacing the whole control panel ?
Edit : Guys, it happened because of those liquid car fresheners you hang around the rearview mirror. It came off when the car was parked, and when I cleaned in the morning, the buttons peeled off.
SO I joined the club a couple weeks ago, been loving the new EB.
I know for a fact the previous owner did a res delete- i think there may have been a sound tube delete as well, but i'm still getting used to the engine bay layout. (My last eb was a FOST)
intercooler and intake piping look normal, and have fomoco markings.
Didn't realize how tiny the intercooler was until i just saw it.
What's the knobbly thing in the second picture (green arrow) It looks like a hood rest of some sort.

Hello everyone I posted in this place before because I was interested in both a s550 and s197 mustang 5.0 today I sat in the s197 and it was very cramped my legs were by the streering wheel I am a bigger guy 6’3 250 and I was wondering would the s550 have more space or should I just accept my losses and get a challenger or charger could anyone give me some insight?
This is a 2015 front end conversion of a 2014 front end.

Just curious on what you guys are using and some recommendations for a solid phone mount. Im not a fan at all of windshield suction cups and have gone back and forth about the vent mounts. Ive got a bulletpoint mount in my Jeep, which i love, and it has been the strongest/most dependable mount ive ever owned. Thanks in advance 😎
Happened to be under my car like any other Monday and I noticed this tear between a factory hole and the K member ... any one want to speculate and tell me if it is something concerning? Passenger has the tear (bottom) driver side looks normal(upper).

Any suggestions on getting the wire from the truck to the license plate bracket? Heard suggestions about feeding it through one of the license plate lights? Haven't tried yet so looking for ideas besides drilling.
