Does this sound normal?
I’m looking to get this 2019 Mustang GT Premium. Has 77000 km dealer wants $37k CAD. I had a 4.6 2V but I’m new to Coyotes and don’t know their quirks yet
Cold air intake?
Just bought a 2015 mustang 5.0 automatic would getting a cold air intake be worth it? And if so what brand should I look for?
One piece Driveshaft
I have a dilemma between replacing the worn midshaft bearing or just installing a one piece. What is everyone's experience with one piece driveshafts? Would you recommend it or is it worth replacing the carrier bearing? Seems like between the cost versus labor and completely removing the extra parts. It would be a great alternative.
Engine Work
So after a long couple weeks I’m finally finishing up with some work I did on the motor. Took way too long with other responsibilities getting in the way. Some new goodies:
OPG and CS
FP gen 2 timing kit
New solenoids
FP water pump
Alternator
Lash adjusters and followers
Mishimoto radiator and 170 thermostat
GT 500 valve covers
Battery
Trans fluid
Oil change
Tensioner and other idler pulley
ATI super damper and new belts
VMP degas bottle
FFRE kinetic crank stud
What would you value my 2020 Mustang GT Premium at?
Looking to get an idea of what my 2020 Mustang GT Premium 31,800 miles would be worth in today’s market, especially for a private-party sale or trade-in.
Specs:
GT premium equipment package
19 luster nickel ptd aluminum wheel
Magne-ride damping system
6-speed manual
Performance Pack
Active Valve Performance Exhaust
Digital instrument cluster
Excellent condition inside and out
Clean title
Two minor CarFax incidents from the previous owner (no major damage)
I’m curious what you guys think is a realistic private-party price for this exact spec.
If you’ve recently bought/sold a similar S550, I’d especially appreciate hearing what you paid or what you were offered.
Thanks!
Euro Taillights
I’m trynna get some euro taillights for my Mustang 2015 and I was thinking if I should get from Alibaba, and if anyone had a link or if it’s worth it to spend the extra 300 and just buy one off a website? Pretty sure they come from the same Chinese factories anyways right. Anyways if you have an Alibaba supplier hmu please and thank you 🙏
2016 S550 AC compressor shot
This car is new to me, belonged to a family member who passed away. It was garage kept near the ocean, but in pretty good shape. It sat for about 2 years while the estate was being settled. The AC was making a horrible noise from the belts for a while initially that went away, finally it stopped blowing cold air. About two weeks ago the AG compressor belt snapped with a thud. Took it to a local shop the next day and the compressor was shot. The repair man explained it to me. But he had never seen what the belt attached to get worn down in this way. Any one else had this happen or can explain the wear pattern. I also had the old changed . It wasn’t due by miles. But the car sat for so long, I understand oil can start to break down.
My Kona Blue Stang
Thinking about changing my staggered setup, how’s ride quality for square setups?
Gauges
I own a boosted 2017 GT W/O PP. I want to add PP gauges (oil pressure and vacuume) to it and do a 3 gauge A pillar set up. I want to add a boost gauge to the A pillar but would it be pointless if I have the vacuum gauge? Also what other 2 gauges should I put in the A pillar? Thinking Boost, Oil temp and maybe a Trans temp. I have a P3 vent gauge that reads (according to google) "Displays boost and vacuum, coolant temperature, intake air temp, air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, throttle angle, RPM with shift light, exhaust gas temp, and battery voltage." Its hooked up to my OBD2 right now so I dont get boost on it but what would you guys have it set as?
S550 Maintenance Intervals
Sup guys,
Picked up my '19 Mustang GT (manual) about a year ago and just hit 60k miles. Planning on keeping the car long-term, so I'm looking into changing any fluids beyond just the normal oil change and regular maintenance.
The owner's manual says 150k miles for the transmission fluid, but that seems kind of crazy imo. What intervals are you guys actually running for trans fluid, diff fluid, and other core maintenance?
Third mustang lol
had a 2014 v6, got hit and upgraded to a 2016 v6, crashed that at my high school graduation, now a few days ago i got a 2018 gt premium pp1 with 54k miles at 20 years old, third time is the charm
LASFIT Mats
Hey All, got tired of the poor quality OEM cloth mats and upgraded to some all weathers. So far they’re doing the job, been to the beach and no sand on my carpets. The back seats, although they’re small 😂 have coverage now too! I’ve got the trunk mat and let me tell you it’s awesome for wet towels and preventing spills. Only gripe is lock in nub on driver side and trunk mat needs to be a little wider near the fenders. Overall they’re great! I highly recommend!
Nitrous ?
Any one running nitrous? How big of a shot? How long? Direct port or throttle body? I know older mustangs loved nitrous just not sure about these.
I need some headlight bulb recommendations
I’m looking to upgrade my headlight bulbs but it doesn’t look like I have many options out there 6000k preferred 2017 GT premium
Tire decision.
My 2016 GT has four of the same Pirelli tires on them. One has a date of 2021 and the other three have 2024.
Tread is all good. Side walls look good. Debating on if I should just leave it go or if I should get one tire and then that would take me to 2031 if you figure on seven years from 2024 or roughly around that time.
Exhaust upgrades
Hey All, I have a 2020 GT with MBRP street cat backs, any suggestions on how to make a deeper rumble? Wish I would went with Corsa or Borla. Thanks in advance.
Whipple 5.0 Dyno
My stage 1 Whipple with catted headers, ValvedExhaust, OPG/crank sprockets, custom tune and a few more extras!
