I was recently on exchange this spring and was a little confused by how semester grades are communicated. When are grades usually released (do we get an email?) and are they posted in the espace étudiant? Thanks
I wanted to write this post as I was looking for similar posts when applying and once I had applied, and I did not find so many people posting about their application process, timeline and acceptance.
I applied at the end of March to the Masters in Advanced Global Studies. This meant I applied ahead of the second application deadline, being April 5th 2026. I heard back 30 min ago - being 18 May 2026 at 12:30ish CET. I am a non-European, however living in Europe and I applied to the Master's in Global Advanced Studies. I have over 7 years of work experience, but in fact it's work experience relating to law and so not directly related to the course programme, though I linked the two quite effectively (I believe) in my statement.
I have DREAMED for years about moving away from law and towards development related work - and this is my dream programme, but I had limited faith that I could make it work given I had gone so long in one direction (and obviously you fear you cannot make a change), and I also lacked the funds to pursue a European master's for years (finally in a position where it will not bankrupt me even as it will be hugely expensive).
For anyone interested, I spent a lot of time ensuring my statement reflected exactly what I wanted to convey to the admissions committee - I spent weeks and months (not hours or days) making it - I started my application in January and I just could not submit until I felt it was perfect, I tailored my CV precisely to the programme (even mentioning modules I thought would be particularly interesting to me within my CV, given my background or projects I had worked on) and I had strong references I believe, though of course I did not see these myself (the references are sent directly to referees and they answer a set of questions rather than providing a letter, as I understand it). I only provided 2 professional references - they allow you to provide many more (even academic), but I wanted to focus on quality over quantity, and it's been a long time since I was in uni so I did not feel that university professors could understand my motivation or trajectory in recent years.
I am not sure if this is of use to anyone but yes :)
have a great day, I literally cried getting the news!!!
I just got accepted into Sciencespo Menton in R3 and am trying to sort out housing. I’ve found the page on the Sciences Po website somewhat confusing - I was wondering what people have found to be the best housing options (studios, house shares, student accommodation etc), or potentially how I would be able to find a roommate?
Thanks in advance!
I did my undergrad in Sciences Po and will do my masters here as well. I realised I would like to change to another masters - is it possible to change before the start of the year ?
Two girls and I are wanting to find one for when we join in August - Ik they’re quite rare!
I’m a rising high school junior and I’m really interested in Law, International relations, Political science, History and Philosophy. My dream college is Columbia to do the Science Po Dual Bachelor Program where I can study PPE. I’m a part of my debate society but to be honest, my heart’s not really in it. I’m on my school’s judicial board. I do a lot of humanities related courses and I’m in advanced US history and advanced french next school year. I was wondering what extra curricular and activities I can do to get into a program like that or just a good one in general. Georgetown, LSC etc are always colleges on my radar.
Qu’en pensez vous de la prépa les stratèges à côté de la terminale pour intégrer Science Po Paris ? Est ce qu’ils sont honnêtes sur leur taux d’admission ?
Est ce que un de vous l’a suivi ?
GUYS I JUST CHECKED
Hi I am a student admitted to ScPo undergrad. I have sent financial documentation with my application, but I have not received any estimate of tuition. Is it possible to request a tuition fee estimate via email even before accepting my offer? The fees are a big factor for me and I have only 12 days to accept.
Can any international 2As or 3As preferably from Southeast Asia and/or studying at Le Havre tell me when yall started your housing and student visa application? I joined the info session with the Director of the Le Havre campus and he mentioned that we should wait until Sciences Po sends us a "Welcome Email" detailing everything you need to integrate (housing, visas, bank accounts, sims, etc) before trying to book anything. Problem is, he mentioned that we'll probably get this email in late May, which means I'll have less than 3 months to get my housing and visa ready before we start the academic year. So should I wait for that "Welcome Email" or should I start my housing and visa applications now?
do you think anything at all is possible for me to get in.
I need to go to sciences po my gf got in idk what to do im acc gonna die
I just got into the Menton campus and checked the SPo housing portal, but the options are so old and terrible. Do people normally live in Nice or where do I find a housing option? Is the women’s residence good? Please help🙏🏻
Hi all, I've received offers for MSc Global Health at KCL and for a dual degree of Master of Public Policy (Sciences Po) and Master of Public Administration (LSE).
I'm interested in global health and policy and am considering both, however, costs are obviously quite high for both Paris and London and I am considering the KCL degree as it is one-year, while the other is two. Any advice would be much appreciated!
Dear all,
I‘ve been admitted to the Global Law Track, LLB ( LNAT university) and Sciences Po. My parents have paid only for the Global Law programme.
Though, I would ideally want to pursue law in the US (eagerly waiting Trump to get the fuck out), with my second option if authoritarianism perseveres being to obtain an LLM in the UK.
I see Sciences Po as an opportunity to learn more languages, which would help my career if I chose to work for the institutions. I got admitted to the North American minor.
Would you say that the Bocconi law degree is worth it?
From the benefit of hindsight, what would you do if you were in my shoes?
Hi everyone, sorry to bother, but I’d like to ask for some advice because I searched online and still have a few doubts.
I applied in the 5th admissions round for the Master in International Governance and Diplomacy and I’m currently waiting for the final decision. I’m also in the last year of my bachelor’s degree.
The issue is that, due to some health reasons (I'm struggling a lot with an eating disorder) and delays related to my dissertation, I may not be able to graduate by September 2026. In my university system, even if all exams are completed beforehand, the final 9 ECTS credits are awarded only after the dissertation defense session, and the next available session after summer would be in early November (by the 6th)
So my questions are:
Thank you very much, and good luck to everyone who needs it!
KULeuven BAES or Sciences Po North America Minor? (EEA student) 🙏 I am so torn.
Now I'm not exactly a science expert but.
I know for a fact that any being fiction or not will be helpless in the oceans deepest depths.
First of all:
The ocean is a constantly absorbing ballistic fluid. And considering each punch or effort in the ocean is extremely difficult see it as if your punching through multiple layers. The more you pass the less power you have. In the Mariana trench you can't even move a muscle. Not a fiber can move. And the crushing weight of billions upon billions of pounds of water pressing into you is unbearable.
Second of all:
Nothingness. The deepest depths of the ocean render all senses useless. The human brain can operate on alot of info but it can't operate on none. A super computer can be laggy after eating up alot of info but it's still gonna heal after so. But if the human brain. Which. Mind you. Is able to process more info every minute than every other super computer in the world. Shut down. It would be like running at mach 1000 and stopping. Ever so abruptly. Your organs are gonna come out due to how fast you stopped. And for the brain it's like that. It's gonna be such a quick and abrupt halt that your brain can't even process it. Causing an imminent shutdown. You can't survive that. Your brain never shuts down. Even when asleep.
Third of all:
Sci-fi often gets this wrong by stuffing cosmic entities in labs. Not pure ocean. It's an air tight lock not full water. Which means there's a lot of space for the entity to move in. And the ocean really acts like a hostile environment. Not a friendly lover like air does.
Fourth of all:
Most ocean creatures from prehistoric times are notorious for causing a lot of trouble if they were revived. The mosasaur alone would cause major issues in any ocean environment. While a T Rex would die rather quickly without doing much damage since it lacks a lot of food especially in a location like the US.
That's it for me today. Thanks for listening scientists.
