New desk comes in today
I got the magnus pro xl desk. Do I need a mouse pad or will the mat be enough?

Everyone on here always shows their setup in the sitting position (logical, no hate) but can anyone update on the wobble at standing height when having 2+ monitors and extras on the desk top?
The main reason I've been looking into standing desks is to help with back problems from sitting long hours, the magnus pro seems honestly like a bargain compared to recreating something with all the features myself in a four leg configuration, just worried about the potential wobble. All vids on yt are either shills or from years ago.
If anyone has time, please drop a vid showing stability at standing height, ty
Now i would never do it if I was sweaty, but after swimming then taking a shower to remove any chlorine from the hair, i tried sitting in the chair when i was dry.
and the leather has a nice feeling, i would sit in the chair with no shirt on occasionally, when i am sure i am clean and not sweaty.
am i ruining the chair?
I get a 1000$ wellness fund from work and I intend to use it on the magnus pro to basically jumpstart my home office. I was just trying to gauge how people feel about the desk/ if there was anything i should look out for when going to purchase
I didn't realize what I was missing. Great chair!.
I have the Titan Evo nanogen XL and Magnus. Saw this nice lil thing and thought why not. Hopefully it's worth it
Ordering the chair for my wife (hip and back issues, but loves my current Titan Nanogen)
Opened the site
So it turns out the variant/colour includes the material and the Nanogen chairs are waaaaay down at the bottom below the fabric chairs.
So despite specifically clicking the Nanogen model on the chair page, changing what I thought was the colour to the top listed option changed the whole chair.
So, what do I do. Its still in the box, is it worth going through an exchange? does anyone have experience with the hybrid vs Nano?
Planning to upgrade my table to the magnus pro, was wondering if anyone is using a non secret lab monitor arm on it rn? Am worried that there isn’t much clearance for the traditional monitor arm clamp.
Got it all setup last night and instantly fell asleep, just needs a few more things and it’ll be perfect 👌
This is more or less my current setup with a 2000mm ikea desk, I have cable trays mounting underneath along with a power bar , I recent installed a new monitor arm in the first pic with my new monitor and crushed in the table lol , I could just get a re-enforcement plate but I’ve had this desk for almost 20years lol
The Magnus Pro XL is 1770mm long , so slightly shorter then my current and just unsure if my setup will still look as clean.
Computer on desk is a must for me , along with my 27” monitor and speakers , and would love to keep my switch 2 as well. Router/modem can be moved.
You guys think the Magnus Pro XL would still look clean in this setup ?
Honestly can't complain
I was worried about the firm feel but it's actually amazing for my back.
Ordered a MAGNUS Pro and realised not long after that I’d picked black instead of white.
Messaged support pretty much straight away (couple hours after ordering) asking if they could either change the colour or cancel it so I could just reorder the white one. They confirmed it hadn’t actually shipped yet, but said it had already been “processed for shipment” in their system so they couldn’t make any changes or cancel it.
I asked if they could get someone in fulfilment/the warehouse to stop it before it left and apparently that’s not possible either.
So now I’ve basically got to let this massive desk get delivered to me, then send it back, pay around £50 return shipping, and order the exact same desk again in white. Or I could refuse delivery and chargeback.
Picking the wrong colour was my mistake, but it’s still pretty ridiculous that the cancellation window is apparently so short that the order becomes completely untouchable before it’s even left the warehouse.
Support were really polite but it just seemed like a lot of "my hands are tied", I don’t really blame the agent but it just feels like a really clunky process for something this expensive and bulky.
Anyone else had similar issues with their returns process and how did you deal with it? Or is it as I say it is and do I just bite the bullet?
Picked this up for $40, feels like I robbed them.
No arm rests which i preferred, but if I change my mind can they be added later on?
Was going to put it up for $500 but take anything over $300 really after a while…
Hi all,
Anyone had any issues with the dual monitor arm clamp becoming loose on the secretlab desk riser when trying to move the monitors?
Hey guys. I finally did it after many months of sitting on the idea. I just recently renovated part of my house so i thought it would be appropriate.
I am really satisfied with the desk and all the accessories.
Cable management is amazing and somewhat effortless.
Even managed to mount my laptop right beneath the desk (just above the mounted PC) so no cables are seen whatsoever.
All of the dongles and charging dock have been outfitted with magnetic strip below so they can be magnetically attached and be secured where I please. Even the Philips Hue dial can now be attached almost anywhere on the desk without the need of its base.
Noteworthy is that the shipping was slightly faster than expected as well.
All in all, feels like a great investment. Very happy with my purchase. Time will tell of course.
