I am doing some due diligence on this desk and I would like to know some cons from your experience? Had bad experience with Libernovo SE chair without doing much due to where everyone youtube said it was upgraded version.

It's a bit of a strange setup. I didn't want to order a new monitor arm, so I used the heavy-duty arm for the 18.5-inch monitor on the side.
Recently bought the new velour arm rests that use magnets to attach. As a gift my wife saw TITAN Evo and she thought that was the same as my 2021 TITAN XL model. These models are similar in name but NOT at all compatible.
I reach out to customer service since hey there was some confusion about the product my wife was buying and I was met first denial due to cleanliness issue. But then met with no reconciliation about the misleading/confusing compatibility with my chair. Yea the names are different but similar. So $130 down the drain.
I was able to get 3d printed jank magnet holders, but they aren't perfect, so still able use the arm rests.
So felt of sharing my experience because I was not expecting to see this from SecretLab. This may not happen to others, or you can read similar sounding model names and not have ADHD brain, but im no longer interested in buying anything from them.
Hey guys, recently received my Titan Evo and absolutely loving it so far. Been looking into either of these to make lounging more comfy. I've been using the plush foot rest and it's nice when you are sitting in more of an upright position, but I'd like something to use while reclining.
What are the modern opinions on either of these? Which one would you consider more 'worth it'? I'm leaning more toward the recliner as you can easily tuck it away, while the Otto is just one more thing to keep track of and stow under my desk. Or is the pro move to just get both eventually Thanks!
Update: thank you for the input everyone! I went with the otto. It looks more comfortable and the ability to move/ adjust it looks like its the right move. Will make a post when I receive it and write a little review

Im not tech savvy AT ALL and I have no idea how monitor arms work. I’ve seen a lot of Reddit posts saying normal ones won’t fit other than secret labs official brand. And I wanted to know if anyone had a solid alternative. Keep in mind when I ask dumb questions that I literally have no idea how a monitor arm works😭 simple answers please

Was not bad to setup. The hardest part was getting the magnets on the side of desk mat. Has anyone had issues with their mouse on the desk mat? Sometimes it does not pick my movement up or its slow to respond
Update 1: I use a razer naga v2 pro pro with the wireless signal. I had the dongle plugged into pc which is below the desk. The metal desk was effecting the signal. I used cable extender and moved it to the top and it works way better

So. For starters, ive never actually had issued with my back, i was coming from the ticova ergonomic office chair, im 6 feet tall and way a little over 200 pounds, and i bought the secretlab xl titan evo fabric, and so far… my expirence is. Meh

I purchased my chair after watching SIOIOSIKIS open all three Pokemon chairs in an unboxing video. Wanna know what the boxes in the video looked like? Well imagine the complete opposite of how I got my smashed, ripped, torn, retaped box with both ends opened.
I guess only influencers get stuff shipped to them with any level of respect or care for how it arrives. Odds of me recommending Secret Lab in the future? Low to nearly zero.
Also, I don't care if it's the box, it's not like a 'whoops got crushed by FedEx a little', this thing was clearly shipped out from the warehouse in this awful state. We don't get these chairs at a bloody discount or anything so I think it's ok for me to expect at least it to be shipped to me in a non-open state at the very least.
Eta: I know this might seem stupid to some of you but it's actually a reoccurring stressful problem in my life and there has to be something I can get or buy to stop this.
I think his desk is the Magnus Pro XL. It's the bigger version.
Wife here looking for ideas. We have 7 cats - keeping them off the desk is impossible. We already have cat wall furniture around the desk so they can have spots to sit. Desk cannot be moved into a different room.
My husband has a meltdown everytime the cats knock his drink over. It's nothing violent, but he gets very upset. He has lost a few keyboards over this due to water damage.
I looked on Etsy for cup holders, but all they mainly had were mug and can holders and he drinks out of glasses/cups, not mugs or cans.
Husband will not change his habits of having his drink near him, tell me how you guys with cats prevent drink spills on these desks before my husband loses it again because it really annoys me dealing with this over and over and over.
Would it help if I added a pic of what his set-up looks like? I don't want to deal with his spilt drink freakouts anymore. There has to be some of you Secret Lab Desk people that have lots of cats like us, tell me your tips of how to not have spilled drinks on the desk?
Took a few days off work to finally set up my new home office, with the Secret Lab desk as the centerpiece. Cleared the room, planned everything around it, ready to put it all together.
Except the order came split across a handful of different carriers, all shipping on their own schedule, none of them coordinated. One box showed up early, the rest are scattered across tracking pages that either haven't moved in days or are frozen on "label created." A chunk of them are with USPS specifically, and those are just sitting in limbo with zero movement.
And of course, with the holiday, Monday is the earliest I'll see any of it — if I'm lucky.
Did some digging and apparently this is just... expected? People have been dealing with this exact same multi-carrier chaos for a while now. So I guess this is the standard experience and I was just naive enough to think a few days off would actually line up with my order showing up.
Meanwhile my home office is half a room with random furniture pushed to the walls and an empty spot for a desk.
Well, lesson learned. Next time it's Amazon or Ikea.
Anyway, that's it. Just wanted to vent.
A few months ago I made a post as interest check for high quality magnetic drawers. After some tinkering I came up with more sleek mounting solutions for our Secretlab Magnus desks. I made the under-desk drawer attach to the holes where the feet are mounted to the desktop. And for the riser drawer I came up with a rail bracket solution that mounts around the leg.
Very excited about how it turned out. Please let me know what you think =)
I finally pulled the trigger on upgrading my set up so far I'm loving it. So much less wobble than my old desk and more space.
Hi all, just wanted to share my experience with the support to be aware.
I bought a Secretlab MAGNUS Pro desk with the riser, the headphone hanger, the Secretlab Cable Management Bundle XL and the Secretlab MAGNUS Monitor Arm (DUAL) version. I had 5 packages 3 of them expected by 22 june and 2 of them expected to 23 june.
I received all of the packages expect 1 which contains the dual arms expected to arrive in 23 june (like I said all the packages from 22 june and the other package from 23 june were received).
I messaged them via their contact support email and so far I'm only receiving a generic automated response every 2 days saying that they will update me as soon as they receive more information which seems like never happens. The package company was UPS. I don't blame Secretlab because is not their fault that UPS lost the package however I blame them for their poorly support experience.
After this I will not buy again anymore from them which is sad because I'm enjoying the desk so far. And if they don't put a resolution for this I will have to contact to my country Consumer Protection Agency.
