Can anyone identify this seed? I keep finding them in my Bob's Red Mill steel cut oats.

Seed collection season in full swing 🍀

Some of the nice expensive estates already got rid of their summer display flower beds that I had an eye on in my area. 🫠 Picked up on a walk in the past couple of days, drying before they get bagged.

Take only us much as you need and leave the rest for the wildlife 🦜

I refuse to pay for seed envelopes

Maybe someone has posted this before, but BEHOLD my latest solution to "I don't wanna buy seed envelopes" and "I'm growing plants to help the environment, and I don't wanna create more paper/plastic waste to do so"

As a side note, this has also incentivized me to be a bit more proactive about my junk mail.

Zinnia seeds

Hello! I’m new to seed saving, and I thought saving some zinnia seeds would be a good place to start.

Do any of these seeds look viable? They are mostly flat, and not plump. I took seeds from completely dried up heads, except one (the 2 with the petal attached) because I thought that might be better. I’m experimenting… any tips?
